Be mindful of where you are spraying these things. Not everyone want to be sprayed. Some folks are ok with the temperature and do not need help with cooling off.

We never spray other people.
Most times we spray our legs and arms in an open area - like in EPCOT.
At AK we find a bench area - not around others.
Yes we are a very polite and respectful family.
Teach our children well.
No yelling or screaming, no being disrespectful of others.

More people should follow the boy scout/girl scout rules of behavior. :goodvibes

Seriously? This is an issue?

Yes....I have been "misted" (term is used loosely as it is more than a light mist, but more of a spray) while standing in line. I have my own mister and if I want to be misted I will do it myself. I wear glasses and don't want your mist on them... seriously annoying to me. Most "misters" are children who don't just lightly mist themselves but purposely "mist" everyone around them. It's annoying and I hate those HUGE bottle misters. :3dglasses

If someone wants to point their mister at me and give me a misting I would pay them for it. :rotfl2:

For some people only ONE thing is an issue. pirate:

I have always thought that some people at WDW had an issue with water.:rolleyes1 Never thought I would actually see someone admit it.:lmao:

My point remains, some people will have an "issue" no matter what.:sad1:

I can understand if someone doesn't want their glasses wet or just doesn't want to get misted at all.

Yesterday, I was spraying bug spray and I had my DS move far away from everyone else at the outdoor movie area before I sprayed him down (and, yes, I know some people don't have an issue with bug bites.)

Aquatica has signs not to spray sun screen inside the restrooms so they don't get slippery.

There's all kinds of spray etiquette.

Completely agree with the bug spray and suncreen. But it is not reasonable to expect to walk into a theme park in Florida and remain dry. It is water people. You know, the stuff that falls from the sky? :lmao:

Well, I'm sorry......I told my 8 year old granddaughter that not everyone wanted to be sprayed last week at WDW with her new mister....:rolleyes1
Then that advice went out the window as the very next line we were in people were asking her to mist them :lmao:

Living in FL I know all about the stuff that falls from the sky...otherwise known as rain. This is completely different than getting sprayed repeatedly by annoying kids and having to dry your glasses off repeatedly due to said annoying kids with misters.

I do have an issue with it and will admit it to the world. So what?

Just don't spray your mister in my direction and we can be bffs. :rotfl2:

Somehow I seriously doubt that!

So just to clarify, you have a serious issue just because someone mists water in your direction? I think I remember a character in a movie that had that issue........

Really?? Oh well then.... :cool1:

I don't have a problem with it in my general direction, as long as it isn't in my face. Perhaps in my previous posts I didn't make it clear. So, let me clarify it for one and all, I dislike it in my face, on my glasses, near my mouth. I don't know where the water has been that is in that bottle or how long it's been in that bottle, which brings up a whole other set of issues for another day.

You were quite clear, you said "Just don't spray your mister in my direction". You may now have the last word.

Have a Disney Day. :tinker: (Hope you don't have an issue with pixie dust in your direction.)

i will apologise for all the men out there -- we try -- really hard, but our misters tend to have a life of their own, and sometime it sprays everywhere and we just can't control it.

But may i ask why you are standing that close to the urinals in the first place?

:rolleyes1

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao: OMG I can't stop laughing...I love your post!

Wow, I can't believe this is an issue at all. Disney is the happiest place on earth.

When we go, I go through the story of it 'being everyone's vacation' to include the annoying people and the complainers. We all have to stand in lines, wait for restroooms, ride the buses, deal with strollers ran into our ankles, bawling and tired children, the smokers, the ones that complain about the smokers, the nose pickers....sheesh there is so much to complain about, why even go!!!

We all pay a lot to go to Disney and someone is seriously upset over misters???

Maybe go in the winter months, the off season with less kids and avoid the water rides and water ride areas!!!

I just threw my mister in the back of my truck tonight for tomorrow's trip and now I have a whole new thing to worry about!!! Whew, I am glad I read this thread!!:rotfl:
