A tip for misters

For the first part of the thread I thought this was talking about axe or another type of body spray and I was like I can see how people would have a problem smelling like that or wondering why people would bring that into the parks, but then I realized it was about water... :lmao:

I am with the original poster. I don't want to be sprayed either. It is annoying. Respect people's personal space.

Mock me if you want, but where else would it be "acceptable" for kids to go around spraying total strangers with water bottles?
How would like it if one of those kids sneezed right on you? You are getting some of those same germs after they have been licking the front of their fan for half the day and then their overspray goes right in your face.
How fantastic of them to share.

We were standing in line on a very hot day behind a group of kids. One of the kids suddenly turned around and pretended to sneeze on me. At the same time I got squirted with a mister fan. At first I thought he had sprayed me with his sneeze, but then my husband started laughing. It was very funny. I loved the joke. The mist felt very good!:thumbsup2

i will apologise for all the men out there -- we try -- really hard, but our misters tend to have a life of their own, and sometime it sprays everywhere and we just can't control it.

But may i ask why you are standing that close to the urinals in the first place?

I admit I thought this was a tip for guys! Guess I was dead wrong...

Everybody has the right to expect that other people will make an effort to not put any substances on their persons without asking.

When i was at disney, i was misting myself, trying my best to not mist others cause i didnt want to get others wet when they didnt want it, and well i turned my head and there was a man standing behind me trying to catch my mist :D  so i misted him! :rotfl2:

I doubt anyone with a mister is misting anyone else on purpose unless that other person wants it. I too hate spots on my glasses which is why wherever I am (Disney or otherwise) I always have something to wipe my glasses off. Water spots can come from all kinds of things that aren’t personal misters so if this irks you then you should have something to wipe your glasses off as well.
