A ticket question

We are heading down to WDW in 2 weeks. We are not staying on points, but are staying at POR to take advantage of the free dining. We have 4 day base tickets. Could we upgrade to APs while there and would we be able to get the DVC discount? Thanks!

My understanding is you can trade those in for an AP using the DVC discount. 1 for 1 though.

I am going to be doing this exact thing. When I called, one CM said yes and one said no. I am going with the yes. If you look at my previous posts, there is one about this very subject. Several people posted about being able to do it.
