I saw the title of this thread shortly after it was first posted and thought - here we go again. Another thread bashing people using ECVs and wheelchairs that will end up with lots of anger and hurt feelings.
No one will end up changing their mind and the thread will end up like many before it, closed.

But, this one ended differently.
People posted clearly and with passion, but not anger.
The OP read, thought about things and ended up with a different perspective and an understanding that was not present in the first post.

To everyone involved in that thread.

That was really quite beautiful and I teared up a little at the end. Thanks for sharing as I totally missed this thread.

Btw, not to go OT, but I agree that children should not stand on buses. My son has autism, as you may know, and he knocked me over in October while he was running through the house. I broke my elbow simply trying to catch myself during the fall. It's changed the way I view standing on moving vehicles.

I just finished reading the entire thread and all I can say is WOW! What an amazing conclusion. I hope that now he can teach others his new insight into others worlds. I think he has become such a better person, than from when he began and I truely think he will be an even better nurse too.
