Our family is going on our second Disney cruise for Thanksgiving and would love to join the FE list. It will be our first time doing them so I may ask a lot of questions but I am really excited about it! I will email our info to you. We have an assigned stateroom, but I am thinking about upgrading our room if possible. My husband ruptured his Achilles' tendon last week and he will be in a boot for the cruise should be interesting! Want to get a more accessible stateroom, so we will see.

In the meantime, we are super excited and can't wait!!

Bummer about your husband's Achilles tendon, but welcome to the cruise! I don't think being in a boot will slow him down much on the ship, but probably changes what excursions you can do. (-:

Hi everyone...

Last minute decision to book the Thanksgiving 4-nite. No kids this time.. Just myself (Randy) and DGF (Denise).

This will be my 5th DCL but first on one of Disney's big ships. For Denise, she's been on many cruises but this is her 1st DCL.

We needed an excuse to 'get away' from the Thanksgiving family drama this year, and a cruise seemed the perfect choice.
The last time I drove somewhere on this holiday, there were a lot of accidents on the road; bumper to bumper traffic.

No cabin assigned yet. We're in the 'guarantee' status.

Really looking forward to it. Let the countdown begin!!

I received FE List today; not many people; however, for those of us who want to order our gifts, the deadline of November 1 seems a bit late? Your Thoughts?

Yes, it's better to read them in order. Each book is based in a different park. Book six is on the cruise, the inaugural sail through the Panama Canal. I keep reading book six only because I don't want to stop reading. Book seven isn't due out for at least a year.

Thanks for the info Kingdom Keepers. I ordered all the books sept 1 and finished them. Book 5 and 6 get you ready for the cruise for sure.

I would like to join the FE list. My Dis name is dhoggle. Traveling on our cruise is myself (Dawn/F), my husband (Clayton/M) & our daughter (Savannah/F/age 9). This is my husband and daughter's first cruise ever & this will be my first Disney cruise! I have read some about the FEs but if you have any suggestions that would be great!
