Just wanted to start a thread for to give a shout out of THANKS to the DISigners who have been THOUGHTFUL and GENEROUS enough to share their work with all of us.
I have lurked on this thread for months - no, make that years now. And I've been lucky to use a lot of the designs I've found here from a lot of different designers. I've used them for Tshirts and bags, scrapbooks and invitations - and even to decorate my resort windows and door. They've added so much to the anticipation and excitement of our Disney trips.
Every designer has worked hard to personalize or even create a new design to my liking. Every one of them has done it with a spirit of KINDNESS and GENEROSITY. Every one of them has filled request after request PROMPTLY and with the CARE and RESPONSIBILITY of a professional. Yet, all they have asked for in return is RESPECT and APPRECIATION of their work. They just ask for us to enjoy their designs and give credit where credit is due. So little for so much.
MANY of us here on the DIS do respect and appreciate these DISigners' hard work and talent. We just don't always know how to express our appreciation. We may be too "technology challenged" to post pictures or too shy to start wordy threads of thanks (like this one). But there are a LOT of us who know it's a special creative "knack" these DISigners have, that it takes a lot of their time and that they don't HAVE to share with us. We know that when they post their designs, they are TRUSTING us to accept their gifts for our PERSONAL USE only. It has meant a lot to me and my family to have been able to enjoy these designs - and I know it has meant the same to many others as well.
Thank you, DISigners for making so many little ones squeal in delight to see their name or their favorite Disney character on their T shirts. For giving so many grand gatherings a feeling of togetherness. For making us laugh. For adding to the magic.

I too would like to express my Thanks to the many designers who give their time and talent, and want nothing in return except for respect for their work, and the enjoyment (and savings), and appreciation from us, who make many many requests. Without those of you who are so unselfish in your time, and your gifts of creativity, our trips would be just a little less Magical. Here's to you and your inspiration, whatever that may be. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
