Thanks. I just felt like there needed to be a way to display the beauty of nature in Disney World along with all of the rides and food and such. I think sometime in the near future I may do one with Disney birds. (Sorry,
punkin, but they do have some beautiful, unique birds there. We'll see.)

Have you got your old fridge cleaned out and ready to go? Did you just keep a cooler full of ice to get you through to today? I hope your first refrigerator works and you don't have to get a second one a few days later, like I did. This second one is doing the job, so that's good. When we shut the refrigerator door, the freezer door does not pop open. That's certainly a plus.
I was going to take stuff to school today, and I still may later, but Laura Bush is coming to town today for the Reading First conference. If I go to school today, somebody may try to talk me into riding to the conference with them, and I really don't want to do that. I may go later this afternoon, or just wait until tomorrow. I've got to go tomorrow, for sure, but just for room prep, thank goodness.
I'm glad you are sharing your souvenirs with us. It's cool to see what everyone pick out! I love the collage of flowers! They are so colorful! My DH (the Star Wars geek) loves the Jedi Mickey! And I love the Mickey Ear poster. I love getting posters at WDW. We have several from our past trips and have used up most of our wall space!
I also added a link to our blog in my siggie since our ask about pictures of the little one. I will warn you that it is nothing to exciting! We mainly started it so my mom who lives across the country from us could see the kids pictures more often!

are exciting! Precious pictures of Grandma and Grandpa with the little ones. The corn-husking one needs to be put in a frame. It is so sweet.
I saw Star Wars things in your backgrounds. Your husband would have appreciated the parade we saw much more than we did. Parade pictures are coming during Day Two.

I really love the flowers of Disney collage. The science teacher in our school would love something like that for her classroom. And I'd like to do something similar for my apartment.

Yeah, I took the pictures. I'm just amazed at, and appreciative of, their beauty. God just made this world so pretty in so many ways. Flowers, oceans, mountains...what nice gifts!

Well, I'm trying to wade slowly into the pin game. I knew going into it that I would have to have a system of sorts to keep it from getting out of hand. I'm sticking with my categories for now to help me control things. Step 1 was the four parks, favorite or significant rides from each park, resorts I've stayed in, and a celebration pin.
That worked out well, and ended up like this:
Magic Kingdom - Splash Mountain, It's a Small World (We have got to video Brooklynn singing this and share it with you guys. It is so cute!)
Epcot - Soarin'
Hollywood Studios - Toy Story (Not my favorite for that park, but in celebration of the first time on it and its opening, I got that one. Beauty and the Beast and Tower of Terror would be my favorites for that park.)
Animal Kingdom - Kilimajaro Safari
Resorts - All-Stars and Pop Century
Celebration - Chip and Dale Fourth of July

the pins are an expensive hobby. I just collect a keychain from the resort I am staying at.
The pins do add up, but they're so neat. What keychain are you using right now?
I plan to put some pictures up sometime today, but I've got to get some work done. Keep in your thoughts and prayers the members of an East Tennessee church who suffered at the hands of a gunman who went in there yesterday and shot several people. Luckily, no children were killed. One man was killed, though, when he used his body to shield some children. What an awesome man, to lay down his own life for those little ones. They are reporting this morning that another member, a woman, died at the hospital overnight. You surely just never know what is going to happen next these days.
To all of you who get to leave on Disney trips very soon, I know this is such an exciting week for you!!! I'm celebrating with you, and wishing I could go, too! I'm counting on all of you for many good pictures.
