Great pictures from Pop Century. I love walking around and listening to the music and watching the birds, ducks, rabbits ect.. The morning is a great time before everyone is up and moving around, to reflect on the day to come and to enjoy all that God has created.

Very true. I said thank you more than once for being blessed enough to be able to take the trip.

I also enjoyed your Pop pictures. It would be neat to see that early in the morning, but I would never be out of bed in time!

You should try it once, just for something different. Between all of the people who come in late at night, which is really early in the morning, and the few people that get up in the early morning, which is really early morning, that place never sleeps.

How fun to wake up Saturday morning and find a huge MeMom upate!!!

Great shopping pictures -- Connor loves the Lego store -- we spend what feels like hours in there while he chooses his purchases.

I love the Seventies posters -- I remember all that stuff fondly -- the Main Street Electrical Parade (I had a record with the music on it), the Rescuers (my very first Disney movie in a theater), and Pete's Dragon.

Glad you liked the pictures. More will be coming tonight hopefully, but if not, then Wednesday. Tomorrow night is Open House.

My kids used to watch Pete's Dragon over and over. They loved that movie.

I've been busy in a lot of ways lately. Lots going on at school, and I have a student teacher on top of it, which involves some extra time.

I wish we would have filmed it for you. Jill had all the stuff, but never got it out. I guess with all of the other stuff you have to haul around with a little one, she just thought it was too much trouble.

Great update MeMom!! Brooklyn is soooo cute with her little pigtails in her hair! I have to wrestle with Hollie too. She hates for me to pull her hair up, as shs says "She wants it down like a princess"

Yeah, sometimes Jill is actually walking around the room following Brooklynn's hair as she is trying to escape, but it finally gets done.

Great Pop photos, MeMom. I think I am going to have do that on my next trip... wake up early one morning (while my DH, who loves to sleep, is snoozing away) and walk around and take photos. It seems like a very relaxing way to begin the day!

Brooklynn's character photos are adorable. It's great how she seems so comfortable around them. I would think a lot of kids would be shy. And Jill's hair struggles are worth it... Brooklynn looks just darling in her pigtails!

She was a little shy of face characters - the sweet princesses - on her first trip, but she's never been a bit afraid of the ones with great big heads or scary faces!

I called Disney on Thursday night and asked if there were any discount codes available. I had the nicest CM in the World and she got my room at Pop for $54 a night!!!!!!! Yeah for more souvenir money!

I love you so much, Jilly-bean, and I am really so, so happy you're getting to be in Disney World on your birthday! You'll have such a great time with Kimberly and her kids, and the party will be great. John will like it a lot, too.

I just found this trip report and have enjoyed reading all about your vacation and wonderful family. I think it's great that your whole family loves Disney. I wish I could get the rest of my family as excited as me! Well, dh agreed to go to Disney again this year, but he says we won't be going again for several more years. I'll wear him down, though! Thanks for letting us here on dis be a part of your trip. It is getting me even more excited about our upcoming trip.

Jill and I love it, and the rest of them tolerate us. They really do enjoy it while we're there, but they're not maniacs like us. We've already drawn Brooklynn over to the Disney side, though.

OMG, that's an incredible deal. I just looked up the rack rate for Pop in October and it's $99 per night. So if I am doing the math right, $54 per night would be around 45% off!!! That's amazing... I have never heard of 45% off. WTG Jill!!

That sounds like a deal to me, too. I had been checking in on the Codes Board, and when I saw some action, I called Jill and told her to call and see what they had. She got lucky. Her friend, Kimberly, also called, and she got several hundred dollars off, as well.

Love the update and pics, you can never have enough shopping pics for me. I loved the cherry purse so much I just bought one on ebay. I want to stay at Pop next year but my DD wants to stay at ASMusic. She wants to say she stayed at all three All stars.

I thought that purse was so cute, too!

We've stayed at all of the All-Stars and Pop. We liked Music a lot. Now it's time for us to start working on the moderates, and then......DELUXES!

The Big Wheel building is great, and so is the Lady building. Check over one the Groovier Pop Century Board and you can see the whole layout. We've been in Jukebox, Mickey Phone, Big Wheel, and Roger Rabbit. None are more than a very few minutes from Classic Hall, but the best room we had as far as walking was the Big Wheel building.

I keep trying to get decent pictures in here, but so far, I've had little luck.

That is a nightmare for a claustrophobic MeMom! I have a hard time breathing when I look at that picture. If you have not seen this show, I need to tell you that the fish is pinned up against the glass.

Jill, John, and Brooklynn were eaten by a shark.

It's a requirement. Someone always has to be eaten by the shark when you go here, so they were the morsels of choice this time.

I haven't edited enough Day 3 pictures, I'm suppose to be writing curriculum (school keeps stalling the project), my parents visited for the weekend, and I'm starting to get ready for a new volleyball season. I will make an effort to get more pictures up tonight and then Pooksma or myself wil start on Day 3.

She is a 'paci' baby. She's slowing down on having one more and more the older she gets, but when she is tired or cranky, she can be soothed in a heartbeat with one of these little gems. Jill brought about six with her just to be sure she had one available at all times. They work absolute magic with this one!

I LOVE ME A NUK! My little guy (almost 1 year old) is the same way. We are trying to wean him down to just naps, in the car and if he gets cranky. But I totally agree, they work absolute magic!

It would be interesting to be on the inside of that costume just for a minute to see what kind of view you have from in there. I could never be a dressed up character, though. I could never put one of those big heads over my head. It's that claustrophobia thing, you know.

We've got a ride on Soarin' coming up, but I've got a few things to get done before bedtime tonight, so we'll soar tomorrow.
