i had lots of Cabbage Patch Doll... Let me think If I can remember the names of them
1)Josephine Tiffany
2) Tiffany Josephine (pretty original huh)... she was a premie
3&4) Dan & Eric (my first set of twins
5) Walter - My bad CBK
6) Darryl Strawberry (My mets CBK)
7) Patty - My silk haired CBK
8 & 9 - I had two twin girls, but I don't remember their names.
11) - I got one other premie that I kept in the box but I also don't remember her name
I also had two koosas and three show ponies. I think I was a little spoiled.
Yeah, I kinda love barbies!!!
I have every single holiday barbie, I have the Gone with the Wind, Wonder Woman, Marilyn Monroe, every Wizard of oz. I just love them!

Awww, shucks, everybody! Thanks for all the birthday greetings. I hope you enjoyed the cyber-party! I love all the little party cutesies some of you put up. I've gotta learn to do stuff like that. Maybe this will be the year I get all computer savvy!
I've been out shopping. I treated myself to a much (MUCH) needed bedroom makeover. Threadbare describes my comforter, and since we're going to be having a house full of people for Brooklynn's birthday party in a few weeks, I figured I better do something about that so as not to embarrass the kids when company comes.
I contemplated what I should do, and I decided that since it will be a long time until I ever get to stay there, I would do a Polynesian Resort type theme. I think that is a beautiful place - so pretty and peaceful.
Anyway, I went to look at fabric for a window treatment and found one I liked. I found a mix/match material for tablecloths for two small tables. Then I went to Michael's to get tropical flowers. Wal-Mart added in a little fake greenery. Bed, Bath, and Beyond had a little water fountain thing that fits in with it, so I splurged ($30) on that, because it was so Polynesian-ish.
Not a word; I know.
Last, but not least, I went to JoAnn Fabric, and lo and behold, it was all just meant to be, because as I wandered up and down the aisles, I came across the most perfect little accent to just ice the cake, so to speak. Right there on a 70% off shelf was a tiki totem pole thingy. It screamed Polynesian-ish, even if it isn't, nor ever will be, a word!!!
I am pretty sure that I was not having to fight all the ladies who were storming the fall/scarecrow/pumpkins aisles. I was the only one in the whole store looking at that tiki guy with adoring eyes. I'm probably the only one in the entire Metro Nashville area tonight who even bought a tiki god. But let me tell you, it made my night!
I came home and pulled down things and moved furniture and put up new things, and I am sitting here just as proud as Polynesian punch! I turned on Sorcerer Radio and got on the Disboards. I called Jill and left a message that I was calling from the Polynesian as I was listening to Spectro, and I recorded a few seconds for her, just to prove it. So, I am a happy little clam tonight in my new bedroom. I haven't done anything to this room since I can't even tell you when. Bell bottoms might still have been in style.
I only lack one thing. You remember that bedspread that started the whole thing.

I haven't exactly gotten a new one yet.
I changed everything in the room but the bedspread! I know what I'm going to get - just a solid one with some pillows for color to complement the window and table cloths, but I just didn't end up getting that part yet. I'll do that this weekend. My cousin called to congratulate us on the new baby news. She is babysitting her littlest grandson tonight, and he was babbling in the background. Her daughter, Brandy, and my Jill grew up together, and now they're raising their own little ones. It's fun to watch these two good mommies with their babies. Hopefully, all the little cousins will be here for the party and we'll show you guys a picture of them. (Some of you may remember the pictures we showed of Brooklynn and Carson dancing at another cousin's wedding.)

You are very cruel, my friend.
Even more exciting than that was the new Social Studies books we're getting this year.
Oh, and the list of all the other meetings we're having next week.
