Greetings Disers!
For years I have been an onlooker of my mom's obsession with Disboards, this year I have decided upon joining and writing my own pre-trip report. I am 14 years old; I will be 15 in September (heading into 9th grade.) I love to sew/design, play the cello, act, read (classics and historical fiction are amoung my favorite genres), travel (France, England, California, New England, NYC, & New Mexico are my favorite past destinations). I love indulging in yummy food and coffee (my mom got me hooked on Iced Americanos). I enjoy school when it comes to History, English, Theater, Science, Art, and Orchestra. I am frankly not fond of mathmatics whatsoever.
My favorite disney characters are Alice, Feminine Protaginsts in Peter Pan (Wendy and Mrs. Darling), Baloo, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocohantas, Snow White, Belle, and Minnie. I admit, I admit, I do enjoy indulging in Disney planning and vacations.

Once Upon A Time There Lived:
King Eric: My dad, quite protective, slightly insane, a bit nerdy, and always my knight in shining armour. (One can relate him to the father in "Father of the Bride," yes my dad is very similar to Steve Martin's endearing yet insane character.)
Queen Patricia: My mom, empathetic, devoted, intelligent, and an amazing role-model. I honestly cannot pick one single person to relate her to. She is quite the individual, she being the one who influenced me into my love of literature, history, travel, community service, music, theater, and COFFEE.

Princess Emily: Me (Description Above)
Prince David: My Little Brother, my best friend. My little brother the brainiac, mad scientist, activist, karate master, doctor, rockstar, poet, and illustrator. Despite the obvious difference in age we share everything, I can tell him my deepest secrets and he'll listen sucking on a lollipop, dribbling a basketball with his Beatles baseball cap askew, then instantly respond with the most brilliant idea. Although occasionally he can be a real pain in the *** I could never hope for a better brother.

They all resided in their warm, homey castle located in realms of Pennsylvania. They loved life in their their quaint town, their garden blooming with flowers of all color, their worlds filled with bliss and peace, their lives filled with friends and family. The Silverman Court began planning a summer vacation to Mexico when an outbreak of the evil Swine Flu swept across the tropical land. So they decided to return to an old favorite destination: Walt Disney World.
~~When notions of a trip to Disney arise in my house a sort of madness, a replica of a Wonderland sweeps across my family. An addiction draws each character into the game of planning for Disney. Each character's mind is evoked with planning for disney; the old scrapbooks are drawn from their dusty homes into outstretched hands, the guidebooks are studied, Mickey, Stich, Donald, Goofy and others are welcomed as old friends, and Disboards is obessively engaging. ~~
