Dp's family are coming to florida but land at sanford airport, they was wondering if a taxi is avaliable there to take them to international drive and what do you think it would cost?

Any ideas?

Thanx.

Hi Beth

Never had to get a taxi, but Sanford is quite away from I Drive, so I would imagine it would on the expensive side.

Have you thought of using a towncar/limo service. I know of some people that have used Quicksilvers transportation and were very pleased with his service.

Hope this helps

I think that would be very expensive. Sanford is about 30 miles from I-Drive and taxis arent cheap. I think a pre-booked car or limo would be a much better bet. Plus, its a great way to get a holiday started in style!

i took a taxi from i-drive(kirkman road) to sanford in febuary,it cost me $80,or $100 inc tip.hope this helps.

Hi

Taxi's are very expensive. It cost me $16 including trip for a 4 mile journey.

I went in May and I used Coach USA. It cost me $40 for a round trip and I found it cheap and easy. We were at the airport for about half an hour since I arrived, but 3 planes arrived at the same time, we had to wait for people to clear customs. On the way back we stopped at 3 hotels and then we were off on our way. It didnt take that long at all. We are even looking to return in November and using them again.

Good luck

Michelle

A Towncar transfer would be the better option rather than a taxi.
Your Towncar drive will wait for you in arrivals with you name on a card. They help with you luggage and then you get a nice luxury Towncar to yourselves to take you to your hotel. They will even stop on route at a supermarket to allow you to stock up on room essentials (beer, snacks etc.)

FL Tours are very good and are a sponsor of these boards:

You will be looking at around $120 for the round trip plus tips.

Happy Limo Rates

We use HappyLimo whenever we go and $130 (£75) for a 60 mile return trip in a limo is great value I reckon and it gets your holiday off to a fantastic start and a classy ending.
