A Tale of [family madness in] Two Cities - Final Thoughts & PTR Link!

Nice update. Space Mountain seems cool. Can you imagine if the queue games never stopped? lol People would stay there lol

Poor Henry-sorry he is still so  :sad2:
Awesome carousel pics a ll swirly. Also loved the castle pics-beautiful. I so want to do EMH this time around-we had such fun last year.

Great update, and I hope that Henry is better VERY soon! :goodvibes

What a great update! Such a fun big kid night! Hearing about the improved Space Mtn makes me geeked for our next trip! So I am guessing you and Joe are Mac people? ;)

Ahhh, Magic Kingdom late at night. It's just the best time to be there. I think I like it at night even better than early morning.

Your dinner at California Grill looks and sounds amazing. I really want to make it there with Marc. Yum Yum.

Nerd Alert! When Joe and I saw the Windows error on the screen we roared with laughter....and of course I took a picture. Joe shouted "Get a Mac!" :snooty:
LOL :lmao: That's AWESOME! I drool over Final Cut Studio, but alas it's not in the budget. Yet.

I thought of Great Biscuit when I saw this lighting rig:
Thanks! That's an impressive looking setup! Oh what I could do with that at the church!

So glad you enjoyed Space Mountain and that the wait time was less than anticipated. When we did MK EMH, it was still a bit crowded at first, but that last hour was when it was truly golden.

Slowly we made our way down Main Street,

Despite it being almost 2:00 am, there are still plenty of people! I remember the feeling of it being empty though. It felt like we had the park to ourselves that night!

I remember Joe and KK being quite a ways ahead of me by this time, it was so hard to leave MK!!
Good-night MK, thank you for a wonderful evening!

It was after 2:00 am when we boarded the bus back to AKV, my mind was foggy, but my soul was happy.

There is something a bit exciting about being in Magic Kingdom in the middle of the night, isn't there? Most of the people in your world are asleep and getting ready for another work day, and you are wandering around in a most magical place! :wizard:

Beautiful castle pictures!

I hope Henry has a good day today! :)

Hmmmmm....California Grill just makes me drool!! I so want to eat there again!! The food was amazing and I loved the view from the top!!!

Main Street at night...you know Disney at Night is just so magicial! I think I enjoy seeing all the lights and everything...I have to say late at Night at Disney is one of my most favorite times to be there!

Your castle pictures are just gorgeous! I hope to see it like that myself someday!

So glad you got in your ride on Space Mountain! :cool1:

We grabbed some for later that day, after all it was now technically Monday...and we knew we'd be back at MK just a sleep later. Would this work? I had NO idea. I figured not, but doesn't hurt to try, right?!

Can't wait to hear if it worked! :confused3

Hope Henry is feeling better.

Denise

I so, so love me some late night action at MK!! A totally different park, I think!! Glad your wait time was only half of what it said. That's always a nice surprise!

Great update. I think I am going to miss the stripes on the space mountain cars, but I am looking forward to see more stars. Yeah for a 40 minute wait time. :thumbsup2

I can honestly say I have never been in a park past midnight. It looks so cool being there in the middle of the night. You really got to ride a bunch of rides with minimal wait...nice. And nice pictures of the tea cups....love it!

Loved your update. I hope your little guy doesn't get you up at the crack of dawn. You deserve a sleep in morning!

What a fun filled night at MK! :goodvibes
Love your Fantasyland pictures...especially the teacups and was that Dumbo flying by? Very cool! :thumbsup2
BTMRR is so much fun at night! Glad KK liked it!
Can't wait to ride SM....it has been so long....was closed in early October so I think the last time I rode it was January 09
I was :rotfl2: at the windows error on line! I just switched to a Mac so I can laugh :rotfl:
Hope Henry is feeling better today....poor little guy

Tracy

Wonderful update! The castle pictures are just beautiful, I'm glad you took so many... really pretty! :thumbsup2
I can't believe how late you were there and still so many people. You do sort of feel like you are in a secret, magical place that late at night (or early in the morning!!) I love the parks at night with all of the buildings lit up and music playing.
Glad Henry is feeling a bit better! :)

Don't worry we have been home for 9 months and I am still not done with our TR! But I am almost ;).

I can't wait to see the new Space Mountain!

Hmmm...good idea about the fastpasses after midnight...wonder if it worked?

I hope Henry is getting better!

Those teacup pictures are still pretty cool! I love how the background is all blurry. Such a neat effect. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a fun night at the MK!

Oh Brook, I am all caught up!

Your updates were great! It was nice you had a lovely meal at CG...I think my aunt and uncle were there the same night! Small world!!

Poor Henry! No fun being sick!!! My youngest brother had RSV as a baby....I just remember him being in the hospital and charming the nurses. :lovestruc

I hope he feels much better soon!!!

Henry update:
He is doing MUCH better!!!! :yay::yay::yay: On Sunday afternoon he started to become his normal self again, by Monday he was 100% Henry - just with a bit of a sniffle. Since then the cough is almost gone, the runny nose, the temp. everything - GONE! He is back to his normal 2 year old self, running around, not listening to what I tell him to do, crying at bedtime, etc. We are still taking the yucky 'ol medicine because you are supposed to take it until it's gone, but we should be done with that by this weekend. He'll be HAPPY when it's gone! Poor kid just can't stand the stuff.

Thank you again for all your prayers, thoughts, words and concerns. I truly appreciate the friendships I have on here, knowing that you care means the world to me! Thank you for going through all this with me. :goodvibes

I didn't see the last update on Henry! Poor little guy!!! I bet the ear infection challenged his immune system even more and made it harder to fight off the RSV!

I sincerely hope it gets over all this nastiness soon!

The only thing worse than a sick baby is a sick baby that stays sick!

I am thinking that is exactly what happened...so the Ped put him on a stronger antibiotic. Unfortunately he HATES the taste of it and cries every time. Sigh.

Wow - after a big meal like that, if someone had me spinning on the Tea Cups like Joe had you guys going......well, let's just say it wouldn't be pretty!

Gorgeous pics of the castle!! :worship:

Happy Valentine's Day - hope Henry feels better soon!

:rotfl: I didn't even think about spinning away on the teacups after our meal. It's a good thing it didn't affect us!!

Nice update. Space Mountain seems cool. Can you imagine if the queue games never stopped? lol People would stay there lol

It was very smart of the designers to do that with the games! One a future ride we had on SM someone was really into the games and a group behind them was YELLING at them to 'MOVE IT!' when the line moved. The yelling and rudeness was a bit much, but I understand why too!

Poor Henry-sorry he is still so  :sad2:
Awesome carousel pics a ll swirly. Also loved the castle pics-beautiful. I so want to do EMH this time around-we had such fun last year.

Thank you!! EMH is a lot of fun. I think this coming year Henry will be old enough to stay out later too so we can soak it up if we want!
