A suugestion to the Mods for this Board...

But at least they are converting fewer thread these days.

I agree that is part of the problem, but I don't see a clear way to define those and say they have to be in another forum.

The games and exchanges can be clearly categorized and given their own home.

I'd also like to see the game threads moved. There are way too many of them, and it's really just mindless posting rather than actual conversations and interaction between members.

Heck, the Katrina board could probably go at this point... put Games in its place.

I agree for the need of a Games Board. They don't bother me too much because of the way I read the DIS ... I read using the "New Posts" button so I see all the boards at once. However, the suggestion has been made more than once and it would be nice if the moderators could do it.

but I'll agree only if they have one for parents of teens WITH instructions on how to stay sane

It seems that the majority of page 1 is always some type of game.

I'm going to jump on this bandwagon as well! I would love to see a seperate board for games! It will free up more space so people who come here to find info on WDW and such don't get to confused by having to wade thru mindless posts!

I also belong to other message boards that have a "games" board or subboard. I think it is a great idea for this board and a great way to "declutter".

Other boards I post on have seperate "games" boards and it hasn't done anything but made everyone happy. Playing a never ending game is truly NOT community at all but I know a lot of people enjoy doing them.

Or make it a "Hurricane forum". Since there about 5 1/2 months to go of season and it does effect many folks, including vacationers to Disney. But just a thought. If a hurricane is coming, it would be just as easy to start a thread in the regular C.B., but even those might become numerous, but let's hope not.

Eh, on the surface it seemed to me like a good idea. But then I thought about it and realized where does it end? I think we have a lot of threads about the tag fairy. Should we make a sub section for that? A thread for polls? Pretty soon, we'll have the whole first page as sub sections.

Keep it the way it is. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

I agree, Katrina isn't really fitting for that forum because it's got Wilma info in it as well. "Hurricane Forum" would be a better choice at this point.
