A sure sign your 5YO is really sick

He comes to you and asks if he can go to his bed, and have a nap. Poor kid. He has a cold, slight fever and an ear infection. We have one dose of antibiotics in him, so he should be bouncing back by tomorrow, but man he is feeling punky.

My 5 y/o fell asleep the other afternoon-bad sign. He was sick (vomiting) later that evening.

Well, he slept for about 45 mins (maybe an hour). Got up, vegged in front of TV for a bit, and finally ATE SOMETHING. I think the antibiotics are kicking in, finally.

Now, I wonder how long it will take to get him to bed tonight
