Well, yeah!!! Isn't that always the first order of business??? I'm outta here in 15 or so minutes, then to pick up my Victoria and go home. I have supper cooking in the crock pot. (the Crock Pot is the working woman's friend!!! ) I'm not sure what time Pam goes to work, but it seems she's already left us.....stranded....alone....lonely.....sad.......

Hey Pam! I am catching up tonight. Love the AK shirts--so cute! DH is looking for a new DVD player and is eyeing a blue ray that does what you mentioned with YouTube. I did not think about putting the Disney ride videos up--great idea that I will be using! I have them saved to my account so worse come to worse, I will just plug my laptop into our tv and do it that way.

I'm sorry Anthony did not decide to come. I sure hope you work out the resort. You need a room for five right? Hmmm...would a Wilderness Cabin work? I cannot remember how much it is compared to POR but they are both moderates and can hold 5.

I am so glad you were able to switch to POR!! We are looking forward to trying it out on our trip too.

I sure hope your neck is feeling better!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO SCREAM FOR EVERYONE'S ATTENTION RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

I JUST SPOKE WITH THE BESTEST, MOST WONDERFUL CM FROM DISNEY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! SHE SAID THERE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN CANCELLATIONS AND IT LOOKS AVAILABLE. I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES, FOR SOME REASON IT WASN'T GOING THROUGH. SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE WILL FIGHT TO GET HER CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY WANT. OH, WHY CAN'T THEY ALL BE LIKE THAT!!!! SHE WAS WORKING WITH SOMEONE ELSE AS WELL. I TOLD HER SHE MADE MY DAY, WEEK, AND MONTHS UNTIL I GET TO POR!!! AND I'LL THINK ABOUT HER WHILE I'M THERE, FOR SURE! SHE WAS LAUGHING BECAUSE I WAS SO EXCITED. SHE SAID IT MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD WHEN I MAKE SOMEONE HAPPY! I WANNA GIVE HER THIS HUG RIGHT NOW!

I AM STAYING AT POR IN THE ALLIGATOR BAYOU SECTION! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I'M SUPPOSED TO GO TO WORK THIS EXCITED!!!

OH MY GOD, NOW WE JUST GOTTA GET ANN OVER THERE AND WE CAN GO DOWN THE WATERSLIDE TOGETHER . LOLOLOL!!!!!

Pam - Great knews on the switch to POR....yes why can't all the CM's be like that one....I had a CM a few weeks ago tell me I was making a room only ressie far to early (mind you its for one night so I had to pay up front) but if I insisted he would book the room.....I called back got a really nice CM and booked and paid with her...

Oh, we'll be sliding! And yeah, i'm so excited about the resort! I really can't wait now!

We've stayed at POR in Alligator Bayou twice so I have a little soft spot for that place! So glad it's working out for you to stay there!!

I'm so HAPPY about POR!!!
And yeah the youtube thing is great to bring up Disney rides on. We have a big screen TV, so it feels like we're on the ride! We also watched The BOO to you parade!

HaHa, I wish you could "HEAR" me. Sam was looking at me like, OK after I had got off the phone and was jumping up and down with excitement.

Now when I went to pick up Emily and Lizzie, Emily shared my extreme excitement. She really wanted to stay there too. Mainly for the slide! Sam and Lizzie LOVE the fact that we're staying in the "Bayou", like Princess Tiana!

Our DME bus stopped at POR on its way to YC and we were impressed by how pretty the resort is!

Well here it is on Saturday and I'm busy printing out the back of the RSVP postcards for the wedding and of course I'm on the desktop which only has dial up! Victoria has the laptop with wireless connection. So not fair!!! She and Peter are hooking up her new web cam to her lap top. I've already taken Rusty (the cat) to the vet's this morning and we are just waiting for a phone call from a person selling their above ground pool. We are going to go look at it today and see if it's something we want and if it is, we will be buying it. I love pools. I've never had my own, so I'm not sure what the maintenence will be, but I'm sure it will be fun. Yes, it did end up snowing last night and there's only about 1 inch on the ground which is melting fast. It's a combo of raining and snowing right now, so it will go soon. I also want to try to work on Peter's tie dye Mickey shirt. I'm not sure if I will get to that or not. I've already cleaned the rabbit cages, so it's just the hamsters and guinea pig I will have to do.

So, Pam, did you enjoy Shakisha's and my little convo without you? I was missing you!!!

Oh, Peter just walked in and he's done, so I've gotta go. bye!!!

Sounds like a busy day! I hope the pool works out for you, that will be nice! And oh yes, I enjoyed reading your's and Shakisha's conversation yesterday after I left for work. It did make me laugh at 1am!

I slept until 10:30 today. The day is already half done for me as I have to be in work for 4pm!!! I'm finishing up here first, of course and then me and the girls are heading out to walmart! Woo Hoo!!!

If we have time before I go to work we're going to go through POR pictures, if not we'll do it tomorrow! I showed Emily a few pictures before but the other two have no idea.

Yeah Kylie, that is the best part, we are upgrading and SAVING money. You sure can't beat that!


So me and the girls just sat down and went through a lot of the POR picture thread. They were amazed. Sam kept saying. "oh, I want to be there right now."
That resort just looks so pretty and peaceful. It must be great at night to get some ice cream and sit outside looking at the lake!!! We are very excited about the water taxi to DTD too! And the boat and surrey bike rentals right there. We had to go to DTD to do the boat last time!

Ok, so as you all know from my last PTR I NEED to, for some reason have a surprise planned for the family! I should have saved the resort for that, but I was way too excited, and I know Manny would be happy to know. And he of course is! The kids too! We have pics of ASMu on our countdown calendar, so we're going to change those tomorrow!

So, the surprise: Well, the Dining Plan is being saved as surprise number 1. I already told them that there is a surprise that they will find out on the first day and it will last throughout the trip! They wanna know now, but they will not!
Surprise number 2: Which I just figured out right now. The kids saw the carriage ride with the horse at POR while going through the pics. I was thinking about doing that, but not 100%, well the girls freaked out! I told them that I didn't know if that was something that was there all the time or it was just for a special event So, I know they'll forget about it. We're doing that one night. It will be a surprise for Manny too, he loves little romantic things like that
It says to make reservation while you're there, but i'll double check on that a few weeks before we go, I don't wanna miss out on it!

Oh, the girls are gonna love seeing animals. I have heard that there is an otter that can sometimes be seen there too. Lizzie is in LOVE with otters. They will also really enjoy seeing all of the bunnies. They got excited when we would see them once in a while in the parks.
And, there will definitely be Disney shower pictures!

Thanks, we are SUPER excited about it. I think about it at various points of the day and just smile, i'm so happy about that.
My friend Brittany is very creative and she is making the shower invites. She also did the 4th of July save-the-date cards!
