See I was really really in lurk mode. I read your TR and PTR for your last trip....I even posted a few times....I also started a PTR (never finished/continued it....exams had me tied down) you were one of the first to join me...but I am the "forgetable" type....

We were really looking forward to eating at Chef Mickeys but were disappointed. There was food on the floor, all over the buffet table and our server wasn't so great. We had to flag her down several times throughout the meal. We basically filled up on salads and bread.

Oh, boy! Well good luck to me then. I figure it's just a restaurant that we HAVE to try. ya know, for the big cheese himself!!

I meant to ask you if you saw this notice that was posted on the news page on allearsnet:

The first Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party of 2010 will be held in the Magic Kingdom on September 14 and then on select nights up through November 1. Official information about specific dates and tickets has not been released yet, but will be available soon at www.disneyworld.com/halloween.

Is 4:45 the earliest you could get? I only ask b/c we love to enjoy those 3 hours before the party as well, if you could make it 4:15, I think it would give you a little more time. I still think you would be fine to get in and get to your ADR by 4:15 (although you wouldn't be 15-20 min early like they tell you to).

Another option is to just add a day onto your park tickets. It will only cost 3$ and then you could go a little earlier to MK if you wanted. We're just going at 4pm, but if we were going to do a TS, we might have done that.

I love that you made your ADR's already! Is there no way to switch to POR now? I know you would lose your pin, but IF they didn't release FD, and I think they will, couldn't you just change your reservation back to ASMU with your pin? That way, you could just call up and add free dining when it's released. I guess that's a lot of work, it's only a couple weeks to wait...but I know it's like an eternity!!!

Pam, you got great ADR's! We love the Coral Reef! A honeymoon is definitely the time to splurge ad eat at great places! Don't worry too much about POR filling up-- it's huge. I'm sure the other mods will fill up first. Last year, we booked about two weeks after FD was publicly announced (and those dang commercials started!) and had no problem getting into POR.

I'm definitely excited about Coral Reef, it looks so pretty. I REALLY hope I can get into POR.

That's it....no more exercising for Pam!!! It's a pain in the neck....!!!!

Oh, that was bad....very very bad. So, yesterday I went home for lunch and stayed there. I just couldn't make myself work for the rest of the day. I ended up sleeping until about 4pm. What was funny is that I called my supervisor, who I didn't know was out for the rest of the afternoon, so no one at work knew where I was. To make is worse, Victoria's father ended up not picking her up so my mother was trying to find out where I was because Victoria was with her. It was a big comedy of errors.

I asked Victoria this morning if she liked mansion or bayou themes better and can you believe she picked mansions? I thought for sure she'd say Bayou! I guess it really doesn't matter as long as we get into POR! I truly am raising a princess who enjoys the finer things in life.....oh boy....I'm in trouble!!!!

Haha, "A pain in the neck" It sure is!! Yeah, i'm done with anything besides the normal exercising from now on.
Oh, I hope to get into to POR too, so badly! We will be in the Bayou, of course, with the trundle beds!


Ok, so I switched my Plaza ADR that was on the day of the Halloween Party. Karen, thanks for giving me the push to do it. I thought that maybe 4:45 wasn't a good idea, but wasn't sure.
So, we got something better. We are eating at Tony's. My girls will love the theme in there. The food sounds great too. It's a little earlier than i'd have preferred, but, it's better than taking time between 4 and 7. It's for 2:40. We'll just make sure we have an early lunch. But, I figure by the time we're done there it will be almost 4 and we can get in line for our wristbands. Plus we'll still have snack credits if we're hungry later, which probably won't happen because of the huge meal at Tonys and the Halloween candy.

Ok, i'm much happier now! I'll add that extra day onto my tickets to get in for my ADR. It's just a few dollars and i'm sure it's worth it.

What do you think Karen, will that be better! I'm new with the reservation time and getting places thing. I didn't have to do that for our first trip. We just went and ate AS we went! I'm excited!!!

I also took pictures of the girls autograph books from last year too. I know they're in my TR, but for anyone who hasn't seen then or may have forgot Here they are. I asked the girls if they wanted to buy some this year or make new ones and they were like "NO, I want these" So, i'm glad they still like them. I mean, it would be silly to buy or make new ones, there are plenty of pages left.

I gotta work tonight and i'd rather just stay home and DIS all night No, I like my job, I don't mind going! I think it's just this whole FD promo coming that I have to keep looking out for, I feel that to be safe, I need to be here ALL THE TIME!!! I NEED TO GET INTO POR!!!

If I get into POR our total will be around $2600
If we stay with ASMu and we upgrade to the ddp, (cause of course i want that now that i have these ADRs and mad excitement) the cost will be $3275

A difference of over $600 !!!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO SCREAM FOR EVERYONE'S ATTENTION RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

I JUST SPOKE WITH THE BESTEST, MOST WONDERFUL CM FROM DISNEY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! SHE SAID THERE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN CANCELLATIONS AND IT LOOKS AVAILABLE. I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES, FOR SOME REASON IT WASN'T GOING THROUGH. SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE WILL FIGHT TO GET HER CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY WANT. OH, WHY CAN'T THEY ALL BE LIKE THAT!!!! SHE WAS WORKING WITH SOMEONE ELSE AS WELL. I TOLD HER SHE MADE MY DAY, WEEK, AND MONTHS UNTIL I GET TO POR!!! AND I'LL THINK ABOUT HER WHILE I'M THERE, FOR SURE! SHE WAS LAUGHING BECAUSE I WAS SO EXCITED. SHE SAID IT MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD WHEN I MAKE SOMEONE HAPPY! I WANNA GIVE HER THIS HUG RIGHT NOW!

I AM STAYING AT POR IN THE ALLIGATOR BAYOU SECTION! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I'M SUPPOSED TO GO TO WORK THIS EXCITED!!!

OH MY GOD, NOW WE JUST GOTTA GET ANN OVER THERE AND WE CAN GO DOWN THE WATERSLIDE TOGETHER . LOLOLOL!!!!!

Pam - Great knews on the switch to POR....yes why can't all the CM's be like that one....I had a CM a few weeks ago tell me I was making a room only ressie far to early (mind you its for one night so I had to pay up front) but if I insisted he would book the room.....I called back got a really nice CM and booked and paid with her...

We've stayed at POR in Alligator Bayou twice so I have a little soft spot for that place! So glad it's working out for you to stay there!!
