A Suggestion For Upcoming Cruisers

One of our dinning companions did a neat thing on last weeks cruise. He and his wife brought a pack of note cards they had purchased in one of the ship's stores. They passed these cards out to each of the couples (5) and had each couple put their names on the front of the card. We then passed the cards around the table between courses with each couple putting their names, address and e-mail address inside. It was a neat way of sharing this info without 5 or 6 pieces of paper to keep up with.
I have just moved the info to my Outlook contact program and will be giving the card to my wife for her scrapbook.

We did this on the 4th night and wish we had done it on the first night.

Neat Idea! Another suggestion is to make up a few computer generated business cards for yourself. Include your name and email adress. IM screen name - DIS Board user name and the link to the DISBoards and your other favorite DCL info websites. This is nice to hand out to new accquaintences without giving out too much personal information.

We are cruising May 4-8 2003. If I am reading right your on the same cruise, its nice to know some more Disers are on board.
This will be our first cruise and we can't wait.
The note cards are a really neat idea.

Yes, we will be on that cruise. We booked while on board last week. We have done 2 three day and both the Western and Eastern. We are going to Alaska next year so another 7 day just wasn't in the checkbook. If there are any questions you may have feel free to send me a personel message on these boards.
