A stupid question

I haven't bought a pair yet because they are sooo UGLY But, I keep going to the store to try them on. They are sooooo comfy!! I'm sure I'll have at least one pair before my upcoming trip to the WORLD.

I do have to say that some of them are cute. I guess I'm just to vain when it comes to the way my feet look in shoes. But... the comfort level is starting to overcome my vainess (is that a word?)

You sound just like me!!! I just don't think I could bring myself to get a pair. Too ugly, too bright. This is coming from a woman with well over 100 pairs of shoes, boots, sneakers, in every style, color you could imagine, but this is just more than I can bring myself to wear. Although, never say never, right? The more I see them, the more my curiosity gets to me. Especially for Disney trips - it would be great for my feet to be able to last longer on the long park days. I looked at the Crocs yesterday at Journeys and couldn't manage to get myself to buy them. I still have time. Maybe I'll get more brave about Crocs closer to our travel time.

Let me tell you about crocs. I live in them. I have a lot of foot pain but I LOVE Disney so every trip we make to Disney my feet are dying by the end of the day. My sister bought me a pair of crocs a year and a half ago. I wouldn't wear them because they were so ugly. Well one day my feet hurt so bad I put them on and forgot they were on and went to the mall. My feet felt great. I took a pair to WDW last Feb. but didn't wear them the first day because they are so ugly. By the end of the first day my feet were dying. I couldn't even walk down to the pool with my husband at the end of the day. The next day I didn't care what they looked like I wore them the entire day and evening. I wore them the whole rest of the 10 days. Towards the end of the trip I realized my feet didn't hurt. It was heavon!!!!! I now have 2 pairs of crocs and the croc flip flops. My niece just got a pair of the croc mary janes and I love them. I will get a pair this weekend, In October there is supposed to be Disney crocs coming out and I will get them also. I can't wait!!!! My wife wore socks with her's all day yesterday and although I poked fun at her all day for doing so, she suffered no ill effects and said they were very comfy.

I just bought the flip flop crocs this weekend. They are actually kinda cute One thing to note: be sure to break in your toes. They feel different than the average flip-flop, so the between-the-toes is hurting a little. The sole is OH SO COMFY. I'm going to get the real crocs shoes before going to DW & trade off as needed.

OK they really aren't corcs but they are just as good. AT payless I bought my daughter a BOGO pair of crocs and said that they really feel like the real ones. The manager informed me that they are made in the same factory as crocs and they they even make the bottoms thicker so they are better for your feet. My daughter has 2 pair of real ones and a few pairs of the payless ones as well.

I personally wear the crocs that are like sandals not the flip flop kinds and they are great. I wore them to Disney in Jan and loved it.

I splurged and bought two pairs of Crocs online yesterday! I got the "Cayman" style through Shoebuy for less than $22.00 and the "Athens" flip flops from Shoemall for $29.95. Both offer free return shipping, so if I don't like them there is no loss. I'm soooo excited, hope to have both by the end of the week (o.k. serious wishful thinking maybe)
