...but I have to ask anyway. Are the portholes just a tiny window or can you actually see something out of them? We're trying to decide which catagory cabin to book. Is it worth paying more to have an "oceanview" cabin? TIA!
 
The port holes are huge! I would say they are at least 3'x3'. There's even a ledge that you can sit on to look out. I think it's well worth the money to be able to look out at the ocean from your room.
 
Be aware though that the large portholes are only available in the Deck 2 cabins. Deck 1 cabins have two small portholes rather than a large one.

Outside staterooms on Deck 1 have two portholes that are about 12 inches in diameter each (about 1.6 total square feet of glass).

By comparison, porthole staterooms on all other decks have a single porthole that is about 36 inches in diameter (about 7.1 square feet of glass).
