You are officially labeled the creatively insane where the heck did you get that picture and more importantly how the heck did the horse push the elevator button with her hoof ??

So I left the house yesterday, went through the drive through at Arbys picked up some sandwiches and was pulling up to the POP security kiosk all in 38 minutes !!

I was absolutely floored and so happy I know I am blessed to live so close but I never realized how close time wise when the planets are lined up just right, there are really no cars on the infamous I-4 and the is flowing

I parked the car and then walked to where I THOUGHT my room was (look at a map what? I ain't a tourist ) and I walked, and I walked some more..ahh here we go there's the pool

Hello lifeguards There were two on duty, they out-numbered the guests in the pool Alright sit down at a table and figure out where this room is Well its first floor but not near the pool, no problem I am at WDW I finally find it, I had parked on the "back" of one of the 50s bldgs near the lake and within walking distance to AOA

The room is on the back but over the other side behind "Lady" I don't care I open the door Yeah touch key works no problem Swing the door open What no Zip-a-dee-do-dah music ? Nice little Mickey Mouse towel on the bed I knew it would be there but it always brings a smile to my heart

There is NO coffee pot WTH ?????? When did THAT happen This will never do !! I got over it in about 5 minutes Spent the next 5 wiping down the TV remote (nice sized flat screen very nice) the phone dresser drawers and all other surfaces YES I am one of those that carries with me the Clorox wipes or some similar brand..it makes me feel safer

First order of business eat, when did I eat last , I am terrible with
this and set up a wake-up call for 6 am Who will it be ?? Hoping it is a "friendly" character and not a screaming one Years ago I remember it was Stitch after the first morning I never set a wake up call again and used the regular alarm clock

I will eat and watch some TV, couldn't figure out how to put on the sleep timer I love to fall asleep to the sound of the TV I do it at home, but I HATE when in the middle of the night you are woken up by some loud screaming commercial or worse yet some informercial Hoping this doesn't happen Then I will take a nice long hot bath and go to sleep

Not watching news, NOT watching Stacey whatsherface !! I settle for Entertainment Tonight Ah this bed is comfy Can you guess where this is going ?

I wake up at 5:55 Why do I always wake minutes before the alarm ? I listen NOTHING Did the world end and I am the sole survivor No the TV is still on so life must still be here Still SO quiet Wake Up call comes through Its Mike

I stretch and then I hear signs of life, a small child is passing by the room Cute sounds of giggling, not running not screaming I know how you feel kiddo Its a nice day and we're at WDW !

I have slept probably for 9 or 10 hours I haven't had that much sleep in the past 3 days I want to take this bed home Now I want a shower a cup of coffee and a cigarette I can only have one of those things Let the day begin,,,,,

So get this, he has a delivery now going from OH...freakin'..HIO (sorry I renamed the state ) to......LAKELAND, FL Where is Lakeland FL for you non-Floridians ? oh let me see The NEXT town over
from where we live !


The delivery is due there sometime on Sunday and since its a weekend there won't be another scheduled pickup until Monday morning

So I GOT the best of it all, I have a nice clean room at POP all to myself and I will see DH (PIA) for a little bit in a few days

Some pictures from the mini-vacation (so far) POP isn't fancy but I love the whole feel of the place It brings back my childhood having been born in 1954
I would call the place cute



I really like the MM towel this Mousekeeper left Nothing over the top, actually it was 2 washclothes and a face towel Like my fancy "luggage" on the bed ?

I recycle everything that I can so got a kick out of the Mickey sign on the back of the door..nice reminder
