A sticker up your nose?

My DD once put a Tic Tac up her nose.....She told us because it started to burn.....I ran put pepper into my hand and held it under her nose until she started to sneeze. She sneezed it out....

It was just instinctive to me to make her sneeze.

To this day, when she sees Tic Tacs she has a strange look on her face!!!

Ok so I have to thank you for making he laugh so darn loud that I probably woke up all of the sleeping people in St Pete!!!

Oh and for the record - no Mr N's up my nose, no way - not ever.

Okay, what is a Mr. N?????

DS#2 was infamous for this. He stuck a raisin up his nose when he was about a year old. He sneezed it out and before I could grab it, he pushed it back up. Fine, just let it stay there, I thought. Then....I realized it would plump with the "moisture" so I trotted off to the bathroom and got it out with tweezers.


On our 10th anniversary I got them happy meals and he stuck a french fry up his nose. The bit off end was down and I could not get it out. I spent 2.5 hours in the ED and it cost nearly $300. for that trip. Needless to say DH sent the sitter home.

*Raises Hand* Yup. I stuck a raisin up my nose when I was 2 or 3. My mom had a heck of a time getting it out. Whenever I do something stupid my mom says "maybe its a raisin on the brain."

Uhm, well I don't know about when I was a kid, but, uhm, well, I know for a fact that I can fit a nickel in my nose. I know, I know...

I can also fit a nickle in my belly button too. I've tried to fit a quarter, but it's too big. I wouldn't even try with my nose...those ridges might hurt!

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time...anyone who doesn't think Moms' are amazing should hand them a pair of tweezers and a kid with any foreign object in their ears or noses!

I don't remember sticking anything in my nose, but I did swallow several pennies when I was about 3. I remember horrifying my mom when she told me the story later (I was about 10)... my first question was: Did you keep them?

My youngest stuck a Lego up his nose once. As I was driving down the road, I heard my oldest saying, "Matthew, don't do that. Matthew, don't put that in your nose." Next thing I know, I hear my oldest saying, "Mommy, I think you better stop the car." All this time, the youngest still hadn't made a peep. I asked him what Matthew was putting up his nose and he told me a Lego. I thought it was just partially in his nose, but when I looked back, I couldn't see it at all!!! I quickly pulled the car over and grabbed him out of his car seat and began the joyous task of digging in his nose. I managed to get it out, but boy did he have it wedged up in there! He was about 3 at the time.

Again when he was 3, he came into the living room one night with something in his hand and proudly showed us what he found in his ear. It took us a long time to recognize the object because it was so caked with ear wax. (Ewwww!!!) After uncovering it, we realized it was a piece of popcorn! No idea how long that had been in his ear or how he managed to get it out. We took him to the pediatrician the next morning to make sure his eardrum wasn't damaged. She said everything looked fine, but boy did the office staff get a laugh from that one.

I'm positive ms.... BigD was thinking of it WELL before I did. He just couldn't get to the computer to post it.

He was too busy drinking Almaden.
