A Solo Celebration of the Holidays & New Things to Explore Updated 3/3x3!!

I really don't understand the people who are disappointed with the New Fantasyland. It's GORGEOUS!!! Like, the prettiest part in all of the parks! What's not to love? Sure the Little Mermaid ride is not ground-breaking or super innovative, but it's the best dark ride, something Disney is known for. It's in the same vein as Peter Pan, and PP is classic Disney.

I know right?! It's amazing, and I absolutely love it!! I think everyone kinda expected hard core rides, or something that was different from DLR, but I honestly love all of it, it's amazing!

I love the new Fantasyland! I think the people complaining are looking for big rides, not appreciating all the other elements. The Under the Sea queue and ride and Ariel's grotto are so awesome. I was sad about Prince Eric being gone but her new grotto totally makes it better.

I'm also curious to see how long your line took. I've heard that even when the line looks super long, it moves quickly.

Exactly!! Everything's so detailed it's awesome!! I'm sad about Eric being gone, but I am glad that he's not with her, I feel like it'd be super awkward to have him just like, standing there. Apparently they were out in TST for true love week though!

There's so much space in BOG and they move so effieciently that the line really doesnt take that long!!

Mom and I loved the Little Mermaid ride! All the details were so fun.

Cannot wait to eat at BOG!!

Love it!! UGH! BOG is going to be so awesome!!

Hey friends!! So it's getting to that super freaking exciting point in life where I leave for Disney in T-minus 3 FREAKING DAYS! THREE!! So, I did offically want to have this TR wrapped up by then, so expect two updates a day from now til then. Sept's TR will continue to run at regular pace, and I will hopefully be able to update while I'm down there! If you're interested, follow me on Twitter (KattWy) where I'll be live updating things, with pictures! Or, private message me about an add on facebook and I'll be more than happy to have some new friends there too! Happy Wednesday!!

*************************************************************
The restaurant officially opened for lunch at 10:30, and before that time hit, there were CMs roaming the bridge explaining how everything would work, and the order that you *should* be doing things as you go inside in order to get your meal as efficiently as possible. Everyone was let in right as they opened, and you were led down this little hallway that has suits of armor lined up, and if you listen really closely, you can hear them whispering to each other!!

The line follows around the corner, where there were cast members waiting at a computer/till type thing.

IMG_4315.jpg

They asked how many people were in my party, and if I was paying by card (including dining plans) or cash. I told them card and she scanned this little rose and directed me to one of the many other self serve computers inside the next room!

IMG_4320.jpg

While I waited for a free computer, I took some pictures around the room (which Im sure is the waiting room for the sit down meals?)

IMG_4318.jpg

IMG_4319.jpg

When the family in front of me had finished up, I walked up to the computer and started my order. I had briefly looked at the menu, and been told what was good, but wanted a little less dairy, even with the French Onion Soup (I cant say no to that&seriously&) so I ended up ordering off the kids menu. When youre done placing & paying for your order, you scan the little rose thing again on a Mickey head on the til (this would be the start of the Disney+ thing&.or whatever its called&cant remember wait now, HA)

They tell you to choose a place to sit, and make sure to put the rose down on the table, and THEN go to the drink station, as your meals can come out pretty quickly, and they need to know where youre sitting. I, naturally, took a seat in the ballroom.

IMG_2324.jpg

IMG_4322.jpg

In case you dont have a clue&I was dying at this point! I looked around for a smaller table, and found one right against the windows, cutest thing ever, it was snowing outside when you look out the window!! AAAAHHH ETA: I believe I would have been eating by 10:45 at the absolute latest! Got in line half an hour before that, with the restaurant opening fifteen minutes earlier.

IMG_4324.jpg

Heres some of the view from my table.

IMG_4326.jpg

IMG_4327.jpg

It was amazing, I was dying, like, me and my Disney emotions had been waiting to see all of the Fantasyland Expansion since they announced everything. I nearly cried just walking through it the first night, and now to be eating in the GRAND BALLROOM, that Belle and the Beast ate and waltzed in, like, THAT IS A DREAM COME TRUE. AAAAAHHH. I seriously cannot express my emotions well enough through text! It just doesnt work!

Eating lunch in the Grand Ballroom, NBD!!!
/

Within about 3 minutes of me sitting down a lovely cast member came over rolling one of these things:

IMG_4331.jpg

And had my lunch fresh & ready for me!! I got the French Onion Soup, and from the Kids Menu; the carved Turkey Sandwich with sweet potato wedges & peach applesauce!! The kids meal came with a drink, so I got a little water bottle as well!

IMG_4329.jpg

IMG_4328.jpg

It blew my mind how everything worked with the rose and how they knew where to take your food, and the atmosphere blew my mind, how would the food hold up? Well, I rate Be Our Guest 5/5 for everything!! It was all so amazing, I literally wrote down in my notes going to cry and am tearing up thinking about it. Its just SO AMAZING in there, I was blown away by everything.

I make the hugest mess when eating French Onion Soup #cheesemess

Seriously, every time. I dont like to ingest that much cheese, so I usually pick off a lot of whats on the top, and that just results in a giant mess as I eat&bahha! I really enjoyed all of the food, and was really happy with the size of the kids meal too. The sandwich and yam fries would have been enough for me (seriously, a kids meal is a proper portion size that an adult should eat&) and the soup was delicious!! I was glad I had another water bottle, as the one I got was pretty teeny. Baha!

I finished eating the most of everything, and there were people constantly roaming to take dishes away, and I decided it was now time to wander to take pictures! All the CMs are more than okay with anyone doing this, I mean, its a beautiful restaurant, and they say youre more than welcome to take your sweet time with lunch and then take pictures! I crossed the ballroom to try and get as much of the room into one shot as I could&

IMG_4335.jpg

Then I wandered into the little room off the left hand side, the West Wing! Also, I just took a moment to think this through, and thanks to a story from Alice (that youll hear later on) I just realized that the West Wing, is indeed, on the Western side of the restaurant&.and Im thinking that Disney did do this on purpose&

IMG_4336.jpg

IMG_4340.jpg

IMG_4341.jpg

The Princes portrait that he later ruins (as the Beast) is hung up on the wall in there, and over to the other side of the room is the display of the enchanted rose!

IMG_4344.jpg

IMG_4342.jpg

I crossed back across the ballroom and into the other side, where the library is located. In my opinion, this is the most lackluster of the three rooms, especially when you can eat in the ballroom, but its still cute, theres a bunch of pictures on the wall of Belle, Beast, all the enchanted objects and such.

IMG_4345.jpg

IMG_4346.jpg

IMG_4349.jpg

Then I headed back towards the doors to head out to my next adventure of the day!! Theres gargoyles inside the castle too, and heres looking in towards the ballroom, and you can kinda see where the line comes in the door too.

IMG_4353.jpg

IMG_4351.jpg

IMG_4352.jpg

And of course theres the beautiful stained glass portrait of Belle and the Prince dancing. UGH. Overall, this experience was probably one of my BEST, I mean, Ive never nearly cried during a meal, its so beautiful, my pictures dont do it justice, at all. If you have the chance, BOOK a dinner here, and if you dont get that, at least get lunch! Its well worth the wait! Heck, for our Feb trip, I plan on eating here twice if we can! (one lunch and one dinner) And Paigell be waking up early to book all of her ADRs for her August trip during our trip, and this is definitely one of them!!

Oh&and for the record, no, I did not try the grey stuff&.I have seen it out and about in pictures, but Im pretty sure its a dinner thing. Hence another reason I want to get an ADR for BOG in Feb!

I rounded back over into Belles village to say hello to a friend, again, I mean, no one takes no for an answer like Gaston!

IMG_4354.jpg

He was a pretty good dreamboat, haha, he told me that I should go meet Ariel, and that I should challenge her to a swim off. When I mentioned that I had already hung out with her today, he said that I just needed to go back, I mean, he was in charge, right? He was great, but I did say good bye, as I had a fast pass to use, and time was running out!

Lunch at Be Our Guest had just been enough time that my fast pass was now valid, so of course I headed over that way, back into the original Fantasyland and over to Peter Pan’s Flight, and jumped right into the fast pass line!

Got a red card at PPF!! #disney

IMG_2326.jpg

There was a couple standing in line in front of me, and the boy said something along the lines of “I saw you earlier, you guys are twins” and gestured to his girlfriend, who was wearing the same Ariel shirt, black capris and sandals, ahaha! When in Disney, you can definitely be clothing twins! Under 5 minutes passed, and I was soaring over London, and actually got some decent pictures to prove it!

(now if only I could remember what setting it was to take them next time…)

IMG_4355.jpg

IMG_4356.jpg

IMG_4358.jpg

IMG_4361.jpg

This is just one of those awesome classic rides, they’re so CUTE! I love them, always have and always will, UGH, cannot wait to go back! I also love the music in Peter Pan’s Flight, the little drumming part they have was stuck in my head last week and I was all “where is this from?!” and it took me a bit, naturally it’s from a Disney ride, right? Like, who else! This ride’s so awesome, even Ariel makes a cameo!

IMG_4369.jpg

IMG_4374.jpg

IMG_4376.jpg

IMG_4377.jpg

IMG_4381.jpg

I was actually really impressed with the pictures I got out of the ride! Usually they’re 100% blurry, or too dark, clearly I have to work more with my camera, hopefully I can play around a whole bunch in these next couple of weeks and figure out some stuff! Haha!

I landed my pirate ship safely back in Florida, and headed off through Fantasyland, the crowds were still kinda bad, and I’m usually not a fan of riding rides when I travel solo, so when I saw some fun characters out, I of course stopped to see them!

IMG_4386.jpg

Alice & the White Rabbit! I had them sign a post card for my roommate, as the last time I was there, Alice left before I met them, so we had missed her name! She asked where I was from, and when I said Canada she said “Oh! That’s way up North!” And pointed upwards, but then was quick to explain that “North is actually….that way!” and pointed off to her right;

IMG_4387.jpg

She said she knew that the castle was North, so obviously North was that way, which was pretty cool to know, and it led me to realize that the West Wing of Be Our Guest is actually on the West side of the building, mind blown, because we all know that was done on purpose!

IMG_4388.jpg

IMG_4389.jpg

She was ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. I have met this one before, and I think she is just 100% PERFECT, she’s adorable, and has the character just down pact, easily my favorite!

IMG_4390.jpg

We said goodbye, and I made on my way. Since I was more into doing characters today, I figured I should swing into one of the new character spots to check out what it was all about, so off to Storybook Circus I went!

IMG_4391.jpg

IMG_4392.jpg

Pete’s Silly Slideshow! You head in through his mouth, and then off to your left are Daisy and Minnie, and off to the right, you’ve got Donald & Goofy!

IMG_4393.jpg

IMG_4394.jpg

It was a tough choice, but my love for Donald won over, and the line for the boys was shorter; to the right side I went! The wait was posted at 15 minutes, but I was done in under 5! Yay!

IMG_4395.jpg

IMG_4396.jpg

Goofy was absolutely great! We danced, he made hearts at me and blew me tons of kisses with lots of love, totally awesome!

IMG_4397.jpg

IMG_4398.jpg

I jumped over to Donald, and over there, the photopass girl thought I was with the family in front of me, but hey, it’s totally understandable, it was a Mom and her daughter, both fair skinned and blonde, I definitely could have passed for their family! Haha!

IMG_4399.jpg

Donald was good, but he was definitely beat by Goofy in this round. I wandered out, and seriously was surprised to see that this meet and greet you just walk right in, and the characters are in plain site from outside the greet, meaning there can only be one room. It prompted me of a memory from Sept, and I tweeted at Paige;

Paige, Remember that time we went to see Princesses back to back in different rooms?

I made a quick pit stop for the bathroom, and then headed back towards the hub just as Dream Along with Mickey was to do its finale, excited, I hurried into the hub to catch the part where the Main 4 are on stage talking about how “as long as you believe in your friends and your family, you dreams will come true” and the dancers all came out, took a bow, and the show was over…what? The only thought I had was that the stage was set up for the Christmas Party stage show for that night, and it must not be compatible with Dream Along? Who knows?!

I'm leaving in 4 days too! Maybe I'll see you there! I'm going with a girlfriend also..(leaving the DH at home!) Enjoy! :cool1:

Maddie is absolutely going to die when she sees all of new FL, and I might too! I can't wait!

Love all of the character meets!

I agree with you that the third room at BOG is not as outstanding as the other two. I love the darkness and mystery of the West Wing, and the grandiose feeling and magical snow of the Ballroom.

LOL, you have to do what Gaston tells you to do! :lmao:

I met Mickey in two different rooms on this past trip. Between them not taking long breaks at all, and there having two rooms, there must be quite many friends backstage!

SO jealous that you are going in a few days!!!!! Off to add you on twitter, can't wait to see your updates!

Lol, yeah, I think they probably could have done something a little more magical with it, but oh well! I think that's where the Beast meets guests at dinner, so as long as we aren't sat in there for dinner I'll be okay haha.

Lol, always!! Gaston is the greatest!!

I know, right!! There's a ton of them!! The amount of friends of Cinderella is crazy, and I mean, it takes like 3+ people hanging out with Mickey to do Fantasmic!!

SO jealous that you are going in a few days!!!!! Off to add you on twitter, can't wait to see your updates!

Hahaha!! Thanks!!

We might overlap on the 25th and 27th! I'll definitely give a shout out if I see you. I think we overlapped in September also! It's so close now, I can't stand it! I even switched around some ADRs this morning....

Hmmm my iPad shows the update waiting for BoG then PP after but not your meal. But all of the pictures show up of BoG. Now I'm totally confused so I'm just stopping in for now until I can accurately comment rotfl

I'll apologize now because I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with two updates a day! Work has been crazy lately and seriously cutting into my DIS time.

Can. Not. Wait. for BOG!!!! :dance3:

You got some great pictures on Peter Pan. I really need to get a better camera but I don't want to carry a big one around.

Really?!?! Awesome!! Definitely say hello, I probably won't recognize your username, but if you just say you're the one from my Nov TR, that should make enough sense to me, Lawl. Do you have a PTR on the go??

Ah! Mine's doing the same thing on my phone, lame! Haha

Totes fair, I can barely keep up with it plus keeping up with the PTR, it's a lot haha!!

I AM DYING I cannot wait for any of it, seriously, so excited!!!

My camera's actually a little point and shoot, but has an amazing lens, and awesome zoom, after looking into a more high tech one a bit, I decided it was best to get a cool one!

Since I had a couple more characters I would like to meet today, I continued on over to the Adventureland Bridge and jumped into Peter’s line, it was short, so why not?

IMG_4400.jpg

IMG_4401.jpg

Now, bad review coming up, the last time I met Peter, he was super chatty, super interactive, and he is my FAVORITE Peter, he’s so incredible. Today, not so good, he barely said a word, and just seemed like he was not into talking to people at all. Blah. Not too great for a character that’s supposed to be a super chatty kid, I also thought he was too tall….bahah, just my thought? I said goodbye and headed over into Adventureland.

The Adventureland Veranda looks so empty with no meet & greet! #imissprinceeric

Like, seriously, I love Prince Eric, but am I glad that they at least introduced Gaston into character meets, makes up for no Eric. I’m wondering if they’ll put anyone in there now? I wish they’d move Peter & Wendy over there, or like, Pocahontas or something, that’d be great!

I had a post card for a friend that wanted to be signed by Aladdin & Jasmine, so I jumped in there line next, and waited approximately 10 minutes before they came out.

I love it when kids try to pick the jewels out of the ground in Adventureland

They. Were. Amazing. Like, seriously. The post card had the Haunted Mansion on it, and Jasmine asked me “is this your castle?!?” When I told her gosh no, she said “I’m glad! That’d be really scary! I wouldn’t want to live there, it’d be pretty hard to run from the guards there, I mean, they’re ghosts, they’ll follow you for eternity.” And around this point, Aladdin cracked, and just started laughing, and just couldn’t stop at all.

IMG_4402.jpg

He covered it up by saying that it was funny because any time they took Abu on the ride, he would just keep screaming at everything and it was really funny and he’d be all “ahh” and like, jump 10 feet in the air.

IMG_4403.jpg

IMG_4404.jpg

We took the pictures, and I said good bye to them, as Aladdin told me to “stay in disguise in the market place today, stay in “camel-neighto”” Bahaha, he was still laughing as I walked away from Adventureland, and I just absolutely loved it, they were fantastic!

[/b][/i] One of my favorite things is when characters break #aladdin[/center[/b][/i]

Now, when I say that, I mean, when it’s by accident, or you manage to crack them, or the other character with them, I DO NOT mean when they just drop character and start talking to you like a normal person, they’re a princess, they should always be a princess! Now, when they do start laughing like that it, it’s just funny, (but in no way do I attempt to crack them, that’s just not cool)

I did a loop through the Frontierland/Liberty Square area, and made it back to the hub when I heard some of my favorite music playing!

Time to pump up the party now!! #moveitshakeit

A picture of Baloo for Mom, Donald for me, and the performers for a tweet with Paige tagged in it!

@Paige, soon this’ll be us!! #dreamscometrue

She replied to the tweet with something along the lines of “I just burst into tears at work” and I replied “you are my heart song! We need another trip soon!” Since well, we do (and since then I have surprised her with another trip, and we have 25 days left til we go!) Yay!

IMG_4423.jpg

I had a little bit of an inner debate going on while I watched Move It Shake It Celebrate It, I had planned on this being my Magic Kingdom day, but I had been here a whole lot already for 3 days, so I’d accomplished a lot. I wasn’t big on doing rides this trip, and had seen all the characters I would want to. I was debating hoping over to Animal Kingdom to watch some more of FOTLK before I would have to head home the next day. In case you were wondering, FOTLK clearly won, and I headed back to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.

Since I was planning on coming back right as MVMCP was starting, I figured I should stop and exchange my confirmation number for an actual ticket! I stopped in at Guest Services, and was helped out by a very friendly young male CM, Paco, who was from Mexico, but had been raised up in British Columbia in Canada! This knowledge of course, came from when we were chatting, and him asking where I was from, and if I was having fun and all. He handed me my ticket (looks like the regular day passes) with Goofy on the front, and then another piece of paper that he said I could exchange for an ice cream anywhere in the Magic Kingdom!

(I’ve got the sticker on it to block off my full name because I uploaded it straight from my phone instead of transferring it to my computer first, and that appears to be the only photoshopping I can do on photobucket, lol)

D1CE818C-FBE7-4E31-8E99-896AEF4FEDF6-50636-000035055A58CC19.jpg

It was one of those “No Strings Attached” cards that I’m guessing people usually get when things go wrong, but Paco was nice enough to give me one for just being awesome!! I figured I probably wouldn’t use it since I was headed out of MK, and wasn’t really eating that much sweet stuff right now, but the gesture was there, and it was really nice to get some awesome pixie dust! I thanked Paco a lot, and then headed out of Magic Kingdom.

I had to get to the TTC first, so I hurried up the monorail ramp, especially since there was one pulling in right as I exited the park, and I figured if I hurried I would make that one. Well, I would have if the woman in front of me with a double stroller hadn’t been taking up every inch of available space, like, seriously, I know you take up a lot of room, but stick to one side so I can get on this monorail! Ugh. Luckily enough, another monorail was on it’s way soon enough

Por Favour!!!

IMG_2328.jpg

I quickly transferred over to a bus when I got to the TTC, and it was actually really nice to have this time to sit, my toe/foot was hurting pretty bad at this point.

This much park hopping cannot be good on a broken toe!

I made it Animal Kingdom in one piece though, don’t you worry, and early too, right around 1:40 I pulled in, walked right through the turnstiles, and decided that I had a bit of time, I’d stop for some noms on the way in. I stopped at Pizzafari, and asked for the Uncrustables, the CM said she couldn’t do just the sandwiches. Boo, well, at least I could have snacks for later too…I bought 2 full kids meals, with Uncrustables, grapes, cookies, 1 apple juice and 1 water, shoved it all into my bag, and continued into Camp Minnie Mickey while I ate.

I have consumed so many Uncrustables in the past 2 days…

What can I say, they’re delicious and just right for a little snack!! Yum Yum! When I arrived at the theatre it was only 1:50, so the little rope was across the entrance and we were just hanging out waiting for 2:00 to hit so we could move on up and fill in all available space! (p.s. does anyone else catch themselves doing this in all the line ups in every day life and thus creeping out people around you cause you’ve moved so far up? Lawl) There was a family with 2 younger boys behind me and the kid had just met some characters and wanted to get drinks before the show, but the Dad had already disappeared for something, and the mom couldn’t leave them alone or leave the spot to get any water. Since I had a little extra mini bottle, I offered it to them, it was something, right, and hey, I like spreading pixie dust. Plus, they were playing nice, and safe (Safe-D starts with me! ….dear God….I’ve started saying it…) much NOT like the other kids waiting in line.

It’s a rope not a ride…you’re gonna hurt yourself kid…

They opened the line into the bigger line right around 2:00pm and we all filed in right up to the doors to wait for the previous show to end, and boy, did it sound like it was going to be an awesome one!

Getting chills from the Circle of Life singer & the theatre isn’t even open yet #talent

Seriously, ah-may-zing when that stuff happens, I think I teared up more outside the theatre than I did when I was actually watching the show! Lawl, soon enough, the theatre opened and we all raced across to get the good seats, I again, was in the Elephant Section, and was in the first row that wasn’t wheelchair accessible, heck yes!!

Words cannot express how much I love the dancing in this, like, at all!

Can’t wait to be part of this show….#fotlk #dreamscometrue #dancing #passion

At all, ugh, it’s just all so awesome and amazing and I really hope that I will be able to be a part of it someday, which is why it SUCKS so much that they just changed the weight restriction down to 110 pounds, like, that might not be do-able for me, and that will suck, A LOT.

So much love for these guys. I videod a bit of the “Circle of Life” part that they blend in with the Can You Feel the Love Tonight, I was just prepping for the fact that the singer was incredible!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fJQJi-SPUs&feature=youtu.be

IMG_4474.jpg

Then I took the time to video the finale as well, as it was bound to be incredible, and it’s definitely my other favorite part of the show! The show was absolutely amazing, hands down the best I had ever seen, something about it was just ON.

That was beyond incredible!! The combination of all the cast made it the best show of FOTLK I’ve ever seen #dying

Yup. That’s for sure! I was hesitant about going to the 2:30 showing, as I figured it was the midday one, and probably the roughest for the performers, I like going the first of the day so they’re nice and fresh and ready to go. Well, there was something about this one that they all had so much energy and life in their dancing/singing/talent that the show was beyond unbelievable! The full cast blew me out of the water, they were all so absolutely amazing & just fed off each others energy and just made it the best show I’ve ever seen with so much enthusiasm and energy in the house.

I made my way out with the crowd, and headed toward the entrance, which was pretty easy as they were prepping for the parade, and the route was fairly clear! Yay! I jumped on a bus, and traveled through the TTC to get back to MK, I had a party to get to!

Just wanted to say hi :wave2: and say how much I've been enjoying your TR. I also share your affection for FotLK! Best show in all of WDW!

Hi! I know I am late, but I am joining in :) I really enjoy reading solo TRs. It is inspiring me to try it out more since my DH is not as much a fan of Disney as me. I went on a short one last year, but I would love to go for a week or longer! Maybe later this year...:goodvibes

Hi!! Glad to see you came to say hi!! FOTLK is the greatest thing! Ugh! I'm so happy that it's still there!

Better late than never! Haha! Glad to hear from ya!! Solo is honestly so awesome, I've had my share of solo trips, and I've definitely noticed that the shorter the trip, the better, especially when you become accustomed to what you want to do. I mean, in summer I can get through the things I want to do in the parks in two days, I just know where I want to go, so because of that, longer trips get kinda iffy with me, but that's just me haha. Do it! It's a blast!

I had arrived back at Magic Kingdom early-ish after my little excursion over to Animal Kingdom for some Festival of the Lion King. I used my AP to get back into the park, since the turnstiles that they were letting the party people in at were PACKED, and they weren’t actually letting them in yet, but as I walked under the train station, they were doing a count down and I could only assume it was now past 4:00pm and they had been let in.

I decided to wander past Liberty Square, and saw no Naveen out with Tiana yet, and figured he could just be out at the party, I had my fingers crossed! I ended up over at Tortuga Tavern to pick up my wrist band, and they weren’t actually giving them out yet, which I thought was kind of odd, as they had let a bunch of party people in at the entrance, and why would giving guests their wrist bands early affect anything? Either way, while I was waiting I helped out a lady that was attempting to get some reservations at BOG and chatted with her about other Disney stuff. I also saw a family all decked out in pirate gear wandering around!

Why is it that parents are allowed to go full out in pirate costumes but not fairies or princesses?!

Odd. Either way, I eventually got my wrist band and then headed back towards the castle, figuring that I should probably visit pixie hollow during non-party hours, and leave that time for the rare characters, right!? The wait time was posted at 55 minutes, well, I did have time to kill, so I hopped in right at 4:06 pm, and waited quite a while.

In all actuality, it would have taken me closer to 35/40 minutes, but there were these two girls in front of me who had a million drawings/poems for both Tinkerbell and Periwinkle, it was awesome! Both the pixies seemed to really enjoy everything that the girls had and it was totally awesome to see them giving them so much interaction. I know they signed some of the drawings, and got to keep other copies. The girls were the “types” that I know the preppie women wouldn’t exactly like, and I’ve experienced some “preppy” friends of characters at Disney, and was REALLY happy to see that the fairies were 100% into it and just perfect about all of it. Soon enough, it was time for me to meet Tink!!

Definitely look like a giant in those pictures, but whatever. I had 2 post cards for them to sign, one for Shar, who never got hers last time, and one for Paige, who was my trip buddy in Sept, and we are now “pixie sisters”; I explained this all to Tink, and she said she’d give them extra pixie dust so they would make it home!

IMG_4479.jpg

I explained that the other card was for Paige, and our relationship, and she asked which one I was, I told her Periwinkle. Tink was excited that I was a frost talent, and that Peri and I should play out in the snow sometime!

She was a new Tink to me, and was HANDS DOWN the most interactive and friendly Tink I’ve ever met, she was 100% perfect for the “new Tink” and was just so into everything that it made me really happy. Sometimes they’re super chatty, but still not into it because you’re adults, but she was PERF!

I had a little wait for Peri as the girls were still dolling out pictures and poems to her, so I made sure to lean over to the CM in the area and quietly ask her if she could pass on to Tinkerbell that the friend she was hanging out with was seriously the best I’d seen in a long time. The CM seemed a little taken aback with it, which I’m sure was because I was using the “Disney” terminology rather than being all “she’s a good actress” because there is no actress, it’s Tink. Lawl.

The girls in front of me finished up with Periwinkle, and they all said good bye, and Peri walked right up to where I was waiting and apologized for the wait, I told her it was no problem at all!

IMG_4483.jpg

She was cute, I’d met her before, she seemed a little “winded” since the girls in front of me, but hey, it’s all good. She asked who the post cards were for and I explained saying they were at home. Peri asked where home was, and I told her up in Canada, where there was lots of snow. She commented that at least they could have fun playing in the snow!

I left Pixie Hollow at 4:56, so it had taken me exactly 50 minutes to get through there, I’m sure it would have been less, but they had taken a lot of time with the two in front of me, I’m sure everyone else waiting was really wondering what was going on! Since it wasn’t official party time yet, it was clearly time for some noms! I had planned on checking out the salmon & veggie meal they had at Columbia Harbor House, I wanted something healthy, but they were closing up as they were a snack station that night, boourns! I continued into FLE to check out the Gaston’s Tavern menu, and saw Gaston hanging out on my way in.

Why is that Disney has hired nothing but amazingly attractive men to be friends with Gaston?! #swooning

Seriously. I checked the menu, but it was really all snacks and the Pork Shank, which did NOT appeal to me. Saddened that I still hadn’t found food, I headed to my go to choice, Cosmic Rays!! It took me a while to decide on what I wanted, I was trying to get something different, and was checking out the half chicken meal, but when I saw a woman walking away from the counter with it, I decided against it, and was getting a little grumpy with myself so finally just decided to get chicken nuggets with apple slices and a bottle of coke.

Drinking coke for the caffeine/sugar grus….#gross #engery #ineedgogojuice

I sat down in Cosmic Rays and ate, taking my time to just relax and update my trip journal. I won’t lie, it was around this point that I was pretty ready to be going home. BAH! I know, it’s absurd, but I was traveling solo, on a broken toe/foot, it was colder than I ever thought it would be, and at this very point, I was grumpy, lawl. Thankfully, some food filled me up, and I had time to hit up one of my favorite attractions, Phillharmagic, before taking the stroll down Main Street.

Talk about gorgeous!! #disneyworld #MVMCP

It’s snowing & Christmas on Main Street!

Since it was nearing party time, I headed to Town Square Theater right at 6:30 to join the already present line up for the royal couples that would be inside!

15 minutes til MVMCP & some princes! #goodtimes #swoon

Promptly at 7:00 they started leading us into the room, and Rapunzel and Flynn were up first! Since I was in the first round of people being let in, they were all talking with each other before the first family, and it was kind of funny how Snow Prince & Prince Phillip were making fun of Flynn for not having a fancy hat or feather (all in good spirits) and were all “Rider, where’s your feather?!” So Flynn grabbed one of the pens they use if you don’t have one (which have giant feathers on them) and held it up to his head. Lawl.

IMG_4488.jpg

They said Hi, and commented on my “satchel”, Rapunzel really liked the colors, and how pretty it was. She said that she one painted Flynn’s, with lots of suns and flowers all over it, but he took it off the next day. He commented that it wasn’t very manly to have a satchel like that, but mine was great!

IMG_4490.jpg

Aurora and Phillip greeted me very nicely, and said that they hoped I would be able to find my prince out and about tonight, but I commented that I already had one back home . (Thankfully they didn’t ask why he didn’t come with me..ahaha!)

IMG_4491.jpg

Aurora asked if I had met him in the woods like the two of them, and I told her it was a little bit crazier than that, and she asked if it was a jungle! I agreed with her that it was quite the jungle (since I met him at work, and hey, it’s crazy here a lot of the time) and she said that next time I would have to bring him and we would all go dancing together!!

IMG_4492.jpg

Snow White came right up to me to lead me into the meeting area, and commented on my lovely flower, and we did some great princess poses that she liked. Her and her Prince told me that if I want to make a wish, make sure I know where to go, which I did, the wishing well of course! She asked if I had woodland creatures to help me clean, which I said I didn’t, but it would be pretty awesome.

I said good bye to Snow and her Prince and exited the theater heading back onto the glorious view that was Main Street!

Ah finally all caught up on the computer with all pictures showing properly and such!

LOVE the pictures of BOG. 10:45 definitely wasn't a bad wait. Especially since I've heard stories of people waiting 45 minutes at restaurants when they had an ADR :rotfl2:

I'm so sad we didn't go when we were there. Definitely a priority for next time.

Isn't Gaston just awesome?!?! I can't wait to get to that point in our TR. We had an amazing interaction with him. Although, I love that your picture with him is in front of his fountain. Ours was not. Boo.

I'm fairly certain we met the same Aladdin and Jasmine when we were there too! They were awesome.:thumbsup2

I still haven't met Peter Pan. I'm pretty sad about it.

MVMCP seems awesome. I definitely need to get myself to that and MNSSHP. The princesses and princes together! UGH I would die! Glad you had such great interactions with them and the fairies!
