A Smile in my Heart–Magical Week of Friends,Fun & Freezing-10/28-COMPLETE!

Hi Lynn!! Haven't seen you in a long time, great to see you![/QUOTE]

Hi Tracy . It's good to be back . I hope all is well with you.

I am all caught up now so I will reply to all the previous 16 pages of posts at one time. I hope this makes sense!

OMG!!! I want to stay at the Poly now. Those pictures were gorgeous.
T Rex looks very cool. Maybe definately on our To Do list for next time.
I agree about the candle thing...very weird indeed. She could have just given you the ice cream with 3 spoons so they could share.
I love the pictures of Katie on the carousel.
Love the hat pictures...you know how much I love to try on hats at Disney! Hey don't blame me if you ever get cooties on your vacation. I'm just sayin!
I"m so jealous for me and happy for you all that you met up at the beach. How awesome is it to watch Wishes from your own beach! I'm really thinking when Tony and I ditch the kids UMMM I mean when we are empty nesters... we will definatly stay here!
That picture of Micheal and Hunter is priceless! Those two are going to be heartbreakers for sure.
Cougar Moms picture rocks!!!! I can't believe you all had matching shirts! Who was the creative one? I wish I had the desire to be creative. I'm a bit lazy and just go shopping!

I had alot more responses but I didn't want to appear too long winded:rotfl:.
So since I am all caught up when can I expect more pictures?

Sara, I didn't know you were doing this trip report! :goodvibes I just stumbled upon it while I was looking for Monica's! I have a lot of reading to catch up on. I loved your earlier reports.

Ugh, I hate birds too! That is one thing I don't like about spring...they all come back! :lmao: Glad everyone loved Everest! The kids are too cute on the bike. :goodvibes

YAY for EE!! I bet it was so much fun riding with Nichole and the kiddos!! And I totally get what you mean about birds--I can't stand when you feel like they're swarming your head!! Uggh!! LOVE the tiger pics!!! Sooo pretty!! :goodvibes

Abby will be 7 in May. I think that is the perfect age!! Sounds like it is right in line with yours. We will be there in Dec, so she will be 7 1/2. Even better :thumbsup2 Do you let yours ride Rockin Roller Coaster? I have never gotten a chance to ride it, so I can not tell if it will be too much for a kid.

Emily is not tall enough for Rock N Roller, but Michael rode it in October of 2008 when he was 7 1/2 (and of course on this trip). I was VERY nervous about the "take-off" though - made sure that Shawn told him to keep his head back pressed up against the headrest! Not that I've ever ridden it, but I knew that take-off was intense. He loved it. From the looks of it, the minute Emily meets the height req. she will be begging to get on it!

Oh Sara you are making me just itch to go to AK!! :goodvibes

Your pictures are all so great... I agree too, there's just something creepy about birds. :duck:

Great TR- you are just moving right along! Thanks for sharing your beautiful family! ;)

Thanks so much! Sorry it has come to a standstill for a few days - I was out of town celebrating Emily's birthday! Hope to have more up soon!

And thanks for the compliment...its such a shock to suddenly read your own name in a friend's TR!

You're welcome! Gotta give a shout out to the best report writer out there!!

Hmm. Very interesting rumor! I suppose a longer show on Broadway would allow for more of the original storyline to be told...

That's what I thought! I'd like a whole number where Dory is talking in "whale"!

Oh no! I hope it didn't continue to bother him all week! :sad2:

Stay tuned....

Wow! Great group shot... and that's hard to do with so many kiddos!

I love it too! They were so cute together!

Gorgeous tiger photos, Shawn! Can't wait to see how you did with the Safari!
Wonderful updates, Sara! I feel as though I'm right there with the rest of you Cougars! ;)
Kathy

Thanks Kathy! We cougars always have room for another! :)

I'm so glad you are ahead of me so I can use your report to remember what we did when. Yay Dave on taking the kids! I love my hubbie. I guess he figured he'd avoid a lawsuit if one of the girls flew out? He'd sit by Emily on dinosaur instead of his own kid. He's so "go with the flow" we should have tried to convince him to take all 10 kids for the day so we could relax!

LOL Monica! You are so right - what were we thinking - we totally could have sat at the Dawa Bar for like 2 hours while Dave rode Everest over and over with the kids!

Yay Lynn! Great recap! You and your cootie phobia - what if I bought one of the hats - would that be better? Same cooties, right?

Yeah, the kids were cute in those shirts. Shawn designed them with their names all spelled out with different animals - it's too bad it was so cold though - they were covered up with jackets most of the time!

Update coming soon I hope!

Sara, I didn't know you were doing this trip report! :goodvibes I just stumbled upon it while I was looking for Monica's! I have a lot of reading to catch up on. I loved your earlier reports.

Awww....glad you are here now! Thanks for reading!!

Thanks Becky! Nichole and I did have fun with the kids on Everest....and those tigers were gorgeous!

Sara

Well, it's unanamous. No one remembers the bird sanctuary except you Sara! LOL! I just asked Dave and he doesn't remember it either! We must have been booking it thru there! That pic of Hunter trying to open the tiger door makes me giggle. He's such a goof. Great update. :wizard: You're moving right along huh?:cheer2:

I put him up to it!!! :cool1:

Just found this and read the whole thing! I love reading your tr's.:thumbsup2

Well I'm all caught up again. Love the pics of the kids enjoying the trail. There is a bird sanctuary on that trail but for some reason I don't remember walking through it maybe I was half asleep or something. Oh no not the bike picture :). EE was too fun, wish I could have convinced Kaylee to ride with all of us. I know she would love it if she tried it again. Thomas is ready to ride it. Anyway I'm :lmao: at some of the comments you and Shawn have been making on here. Wow Sara you have never been on RnRC?? How did I not know that?

Finally caught up again!

Love the pics from the trails...great shots!

I especially love the shot of Nichole on the bike...she looks so happy!:goodvibes

Oh, and the cougar shot...too funny!

Well, I guess it's official...no one remembers the bird area!!! I could have sworn SOMEONE in our group commented on the fact that there was a net type thing over top of us. Maybe I'm imagining that! :confused3

Nope - never been on RnRC!! It goes upside down! :scared1: I can't do upside down anymore! :sad2:

Maybe Kaylee will try it in June! :thumbsup2

Sara

So you don't do upside down rides? You don't really feel like your upside down though. I don't really like the restraints on the seats that go over your body because they make me feel closed in. Hey you know I don't ride Dinosaur or anything jerky because I'm too old for that now . There definitely is a bird section. Is it on the gorilla trail :confused3 maybe? I have been on it before and I think they give you those laminated cards so you know what kind of birds to look for. As many times as we have been to Disney one would think we would remember :lmao:.

Sara, I am here to redeem your sanity!! My mom remembers the bird trail!:cheer2: Apparantly some of us even took bird guides to identify the birds. I do vaguely remember walking through hanging chains, but I didn't think that was at Disney World!:rotfl2:
