A Six Thousand Kilometer Road Trip to Disneyland and Back- TR has started on page 37!

It really does actually! It being summer helps a lot, because there always seems to be a lot of things going on all the time. But once summer is over, there is really only a month left, so the rest should go by pretty fast!

I was gonna ask did you get a hangover from quarters? Or was I wrong about the type of quarters.

Haha, you've got the right type of quarters! And no I didn't, lol. I paced myself as much as I could so I didn't get sick or anything. Just little sips instead of big gulps! Thats the way to do it! lol.

It has been a lifetime since I played quarters oh my. No you're right that is the secret but I have to tell you when I played quarters I enjoyed the drunk feeling. Ah life before kids.....:rotfl:

Haha, yes the drunk feeling is nice. I just have learned that I need to slow down once I feel that feeling, otherwise I get sick! And getting sick is no fun, so I just pace myself. Still a good time. Simple game but lots of fun! I can't imagine there is much time to do those kinds if things once you have kids though!

I never used to get sick from drinking, I was very lucky. Not, on;y is there no time for it but you need a clear head for that crying infant and such.

Yes, it's definitely not a good idea to drink when you have your kids around you. At least until they're much older and are able to do most things themselves. Even then I'd be a bit leary.

I wish I didn't get sick. Not that I drink a lot, but when I do, I would not like to have to worry about it. I think I might have allergies or something. As soon as I have had one or two drinks, my face starts getting really red and warm. That's when I start to slow down a bit, or make my drinks a little lighter! Lol. We just got a margarita maker though, so we were taking advantage of that the other night. When we went to Mexico a couple years ago, I fell in love with the Mango margarita, and so we were making those. So yummy!

I think that some people just have an allergy type of situation. I know someone that every time he drinks he gets sick. But, he still drinks all the time and throws up all the time. Honestly, I would just not drink if it made me sick. You know when you are at that point and can judge when to stop or slow down so you are doing what is best for you and that is good.

Getting sick is just not worth it. Yeah getting drunk once in a while is fun, but I really don't think that it is worth risking your health. I have to watch myself especially, cause I have a bit of alcoholism in my family, and I don't ever want to get into that kind of situation myself. I know first hand what it can do to people around you, so I watch myself. But I don't see any harm in having a few drinks once in a while with some good friends. Once it turns into more than once in a while, is when you have to worry!

No, it is a judgment call. You need to be able to say when. Not everyone operates with good judgment.

63 days!!!!

Last week we got Dillon's passport application turned in, so that is done and we just gotta wait for the actual passport to come back.

Garrett and Grace ordered their park tickets last night. I advised them that they might want to do that before the prices go up, as they are rumored to on Sunday. Now Garrett just has to turn in his passport application, if he hasn't already. I hope he does real soon, cause it could take up to 6 weeks to get it back, and that is cutting it a little close for my liking!

Other than that, we are all set, except for saving up more money of course. Dillon just got a nice bonus from work, and we are going to save that for extras, incase there was anything I forgot to budget for, or if god forbid anything goes wrong (I so hope not).

We really only have 9 weeks left!! Not bad at all! Single digits for weeks! Lol. I think it deserves a little dance.

Very exciting!!!

62 days!!!!

I am hoping they at least get the World of Color info for the fall up by Monday. Monday will be 60 days from our first day in the parks, and that was the day I wanted to book reservations at Ariels Grotto. Now that World Of Color is showing up on the schedule all during September, I am hoping that means they will have info soon!

The waiting for things on the schedule is almost as bad as waiting for the actual trip.

Only 55 days!!!

I have now booked 2 of our PS's! Round Up BBQ at 6:00 on Oct 2nd, and Cafe Orleans at 12:00 on Oct 4th. Tomorrow I can do my birthday breakfast, and Friday I can do our Storyteller's Cafe breakfast. Then I just have to do Ariel's Grotto, whenever they get that in order! Yay! I am getting so excited! Well I have been excited for about 6 months or so, but it's more real now.

My brother told me yesterday that he is actually starting to get pretty excited to go. He was a little stressed out about money and getting his passport done on time. But his passport just came in, and money saving is going well. He also bought one of those little video cameras to take with us. They got all their park tickets, so we are all pretty much ready to go! Just gotta wait those 55 days!

Look what I got today for carrying my tickets and little things at the parks! :rotfl:

I love it, of course!

So I was just looking at the park hours for the week before we will be there. If the schedule stays the same for the Saturday, we are gonna have one H-E-Double-Hockeysticks of a long day!

Park hours are from 8:00am - 12:00pm
Magic Morning at 7:00am
Open to Close = 17 straight hours!!!

Think we can do it?? We will be a REALLY tired group by the end of the day, but I think we can and probably will. Maybe we will take an afternoon nap, but that is precious park time we are using! :rotfl:

Made my PS for my birthday breakfast today!! Gonna see Stitch at 9:00 on October 5th!

Gonna be such a good day that day. Will probably spend that morning in DCA and then head over to DL in the afternoon for Mickey's Halloween Party. So excited!
