Great mask David !! very scary. Too bad about the rain, but it must be fun having the park to yourself. The AK parade looks fun. I think it was charma getting the FP for Everest. I may have to try the "juice" and zebra dome next trip.

lol no i've had the drink before. She just came up to me, camera in hand, and handed me a cup. I was a little suspicious, but it was ridiculously hot, I didn't really care. So I drank it. Now I think she realizes why I inspect a lot of my food or drinks before eating or drinking it.

I am so darn excited to eat at Boma. I love crab. I bet that soup is yummo! I love it when you meet DIS friends at WDW. It makes it like one big Disney family!

Another great update. I love the pics of the animals outside your window and of the AKL parade. I've never seen that one. I'll have to put that on the list for next time. Also your food at Boma looks really good. We did breakfast there, but looks like I "need" to try dinner there. Loved the Dinosaur and Everest pics too. Too much fun

Just finished reading the last 10 or so pages I'm all caught up now. You guys are really having an awesome time! Was it David's first time to taste Beverly? Looked like he was ready to barf!

As he answered, he looked suspicious but that was his natural reaction!

Oh my gosh, I think your Dinosaur picture is the best ride picture I've ever seen. Not kidding. That is priceless!

I love Boma. My sister got pretty much what David got, minus the chicken. I think that she got some hummus for the flatbread, which was quite adventurous for her.

Our siblings would get along haha....Thanks for the compliment on the dinosaur pic, we really like it! I agree about character interactions, i love them! especially when you're in between ages like I am, you tend to be ignored

I vividly recall saying, "Yo, yo yo Homie! What's up?"

The AK is one of a kind!! I love it! Its so colorful and energetic! I'm glad chelsea enjoyed irving...we didn't have a name for the zebra, but the antelope you see in the picture, we looked on our chart sheet the first day we were there and thought he was a blesbok...when we were corrected later on in the trip, we kept his name Blezzie haha

The juice is really good, im not a huge chocolate person so the zebra dome wasn't my thing, but you should definitely try it!

Mahopac! My ex lived there so I was there quite often, and was just back there the beginning of this year. We lived in Mohegan Lake, neighbor!

Pictures from when we left this morning:

This is the view from outside our room looking towards the lobby

This morning we slept in a bit, and got up just in time to get over to the Beach Club for our ritual: Cape May Cafe character breakfast!! We really enjoyed it last time because it was late and it quiet, so I made it again this time for the same time, but it was crowded! Thats summer for you...

I was so excited to meet Chip! But Chip went away and we met Dale instead. Boooo.

Afterwards, we went to the gift shop and did some fishing for pins! this was really cute!

Now it was time once again to go to Epcot, but right before I hit the international gateway, I realized I forgot my key to the world at breakfast! I deserted David and high tailed it back there, they were waiting for me!

We entered WS and just walked leisurely around. At this point it really started to rain, luckily we were prepared this time as I had brought the ponchos. We had a lot of fun snapping artistic pictures and walking around the world.

We walked on to Maelstrom (this is what I love about Disney rain!)

Now it was time to head back to AKL! It was beautiful weather for a swim, but I had forgot the camera!! The AKL pool is really cool, it looks like a watering hole which is fun

Glad you are enjoying it. We were super lucky to get the savannah view although I loved AKL it wouldn't matter where we stayed!

So at about 5:30 we departed for DHS. We were really hoping to catch some of the street characters, but we had no such luck.

Lets fill up that Photopass!

We walked over to Muppetvision, a family classic. Even though its a bit outdated, I still enjoy it!!

We ate dinner at Pizza Planet (in my opinion the only CS location worth going to at DHS)

Than we walked around One Mans Dream to see some things we might have missed last time

Like posing in front of favorite shows...

And seeing what was going on with Mr Disney....

And even though David protested, we walked over to the animation academy!

When we walked in, Mickey was there and he had barely a line! So we decided to stick around and wait!! ON the line David proclaimed, that maybe, just maybe, tomorrow morning (when we came back to DHS) he would go on ToT. I went yeah, right and than it was time to see Mickey!!

We backtracked to go check out all the Wall-E stuff..David loved this.

We asked at the art gift shop for some Wall-E toys and she pointed us across the way, but they were SOLD OUT! David contemplated buying some PJs..

Once done there, it was time to finally see Fantasmic!! I was so excited. We were early so I said I would go get some snacks and call him to find our seats. Only problem was, here I am nachos and sodas in hand, and my cell phone went dead!! I tried to look for him but you know how Fantasmic gets. Luckily, I put everything down and was able to make 1 quick phone call. It started out "Nicole! I've been trying to call you--" "David, shutup and tell me where you are!!" Good thing we found eachother David may not have gotten his nachos!

Fantasmic was awesome as usual, and I thought of how my Aunt had never seen it and I couldn't wait to see her reaction! I get so excited for it, and I see it each time in WDW!

We left DHS after Fantasmic (I think it was EMH this night) Upon entering the lodge, we took some photos.

Later on, we walked down to Mara in our PJs for some hot chocolate!! We saw in the activity sheet they were doing night vision over the savannah so we grabbed the camera before heading down. This was so much fun! The woman there was so nice she was holding an ostrich egg and answering questions...I love the AKL!

I'm glad you were able to find David at Fantasmic! That would have been terrible if you were stranded with the snacks and sodas and David was stranded without!

I just found this in the pre-trip report...

David knows about Coronado Springs, I told him about it the day we upgrade. He still doesn't know about AKL! And here is what my plan was. Before checking into CSR, we have to go to Downtown Disney to renew the APs. In the car before we leave, I am going to go "here are the directions to CSR" and hand him this:
