A simple request for all cellphone users

Okay...I admit to using my cell phone in the bathroom at work.

But...it is the only place where there aren't people around and the work phones are all recorded!

I am a Trekker Blue Tooth user!

I've actually seen that bathroom cell phone joke a few times before. However, it's funny because it actually DOES happen!!

Why do people use their cellphones in a public bathroom anyway? When I hear someone doing that, I make really loud mouth fart noises - "pppphhhhththththtppppththth!" - and flush repeatedly!!

That would be so funny, I'll have to do that next time!!!

To the person that said it reminds her of Star Trek, you are so right, it looks like the thing that Uhura (spelling is probably way off, forgive me Trekkies!) had sticking out of her ear all the time!

Hey Nancy: It was me that mentioned Trekkie and because this was just so odd as she was NOT even talking...so I am in K-Mart and I see this woman walk by me with this "contraption" on her ear...and I instantly think "Star Trek"(def a Uhura moment) ...yet I knew it must be something else...and once again I figure I am all "behind in my times" and not all that "hip"...so I just wondered what that THING could possibly be!!!! (this was possibly one year ago)!!

Now everyone has them AND they are not cheap!!!

Trekker....someone who really likes Star Trek and knows way too much about the television series in its many forms.

Trekkie....someone who actually believes Scotty is going to beam them up

I've often thought people who do that should have to wear a light on their head that would work like the "on air" lights they have in studios. It can be really tought to know if the person is "on air" or not.

This reminds me of another of the Bluetooth annoyances. We were at the Verizon store this weekend getting new phones, and the guy working there had one of those bluetooth things. His was playing music......LOUD! Here he is waiting on customers with this ridiculously loud music playing out the side of his head! WTH???? I made a comment to DH loud enough for another CS rep to hear me, and still nothing happened.

I can't believe he was allowed to wait on customers with that thing blaring music! Am I the only one who thinks this is rude?

See now once again, I would have been looking at the ceiling thinking it was coming out of the piped in music in the ceiling somewhere...naaa, would have never figured the ear piece to be a "boombox" as well, because up until I read YOUR post...I thought they were only for talking...

Ive been made a donkeys behind (i think ill now be using that alot! thanx!) of by those things alot especially at Disney. You know your in line in world of disney to get something and someone behind you says hello, well i thought it was another friendly guest! so i said hello back and then she gave me a weird look and went to another cash register my mom all the time goes "is that guy talking to himself?!?", nope once he/she turns it has one of those things in their ears! I love how technology (sp?) loves to make a fool out of other people!

there is an older gentleman who works with us and this is kinda what happened to him a few weeks ago.

He went into the men's room and proceeded to do what people do there when he heard someone say "Hello!"

He replied "Hello" (he thought it was odd that some guy in the next stall would be talking to him, but he didn't want to be rude)

Then he hears "How are you?"

"Fine" he says...

And then he hears "Can I call you back, the guy in the next stall keeps answering me and I can't hear you?"
