A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

You did an awesome job of catchup MusicMouse, lol! :thumbsup2 :worship:
I did post my question on the main board, I'll use what you have, I just wasn't sure who I'd really need.....never been in MVMCP & when we went to MNSSHP, no one was interested in character hunting, lol.

I am so very sorry to hear about your Aunt. You are an awesome niece to think of her like this!! Give me a day or two and I'll try to come up with a great DISign!! :goodvibes

Thank yo so much for your help! I am really excited to do this for her. She just got home today from her first round of chemo. Hair ismexpected to fall out next week. Mom and her are making it a girlie bonding thing going out trying on wigs and having some fun with it. The battle is still ahead, i just hope we can help her and her spirits when shes having hard days. At least a book like this will be laying around to remind her to stay strong. I might go as far as to make a few signs for the characters that dont speak to hold up to get a pic and put it into the book (or photopass it depending) would it be best that i make the sign, for someone like minnie, or to bring the small poster like sheet and get the character to write a msg and then take a picture? Honestly, i dont want to be in the peoples way behind us, with my 2 kids getting in first then me for my aunt.

Could I please have a 4 parks autograph cover (without a year date on it). I need one for Emma and another for Claire. Thanks so much!

[ETA: Nevermind, found them!! No idea why I didn't just look in your photobucket folders before asking. ;)

Is there a designer who does 8x10 size and more theme like/movie pages, instead of individual? I was thinking along the lines of doing 1 page with ALL the chacters from that movie sign it that we encounter. Like: Pooh, Cinderella, Toy Story, Lion King, Mary Poppins...

I am also looking for country pages that just have a watermark background with flag or epcot picture watermark of one of the buildings...

You guys are going to have so much fun with all of those character meals!! Here are your covers :goodvibes:

Thanks a TON MusicMouse!! I actually had to add Tusker House just so I could use more of your cards!! I am really looking forward to this trip!

I can't think of anyone that makes that size, but it's a great idea for us self-printers. Perhaps you should try putting a request in a new thread on the main Creative DISign board. :goodvibes

Thinking of splitting my autograph book in two. I have free snapfish photobooks thru DMR, several of them, lol. So instead of a 40 page book where I pay for half of it, I was thinking of just ordering two 20 page books instead.
How would you split your characters up? I thought about doing it by park, with MK & Epcot in one, DHS & AK in the other. But so many of the characters can be seen in all the parks, I couldn't figure out how to make it look the best.
So, who would you put in each book? :confused3 Any suggestion, advice, etc. are welcomed! popcorn::

If your doing any character dining experiences, just do one book for dining and the other for the parks. As far as organizing them, the last book I made I did it by alpha which in my head sounded great until we actually got to the park and had Jasmine and Aladdin next to each other, it ended up being a lot of page flipping. This last book I did by Alpha by movie and all the characters for a certain movie together. So I hope this will work out better.

That's sounds like a great idea DisneyGuess, but if I had to do it, I would do it by original Disney Characters on one and new Disney Characters/ Pixar on the other. Or, you can do it like MK and DHS, EPCOT and AK. It's just a suggestions, I hope everything works our for you and you come up with a great idea or someone can maybe help you as well. Please keep us posted and have a magical day. :thumbsup2

I think breaking it up by classic & more current characters sounds like a great idea. Going to see how the pages line up. :thumbsup2

Music Mouse... would you be interested in the challenge of making a matching back cover for the Character Meals??? I love my front covers... and I was putting together my book tonight and thought how much it would look more completed with a back cover... let me know what you think... 8x8 and the two covers I have are the blue checkered color.

Thanks as always! You ROCK!:cool2:
