A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

OK I need some help. I am using Artscow to make a 30 page 8x8 book. I can't seem to get any picture to work for the cover or title page. MusicMouse you just made that wonderful cover for my daughter but I can get it to work on the cover for the book.

The covers that I personalize are for 5x7 or 7x9 books. If you want an 8x8 cover you can start a new request thread or maybe ask otterpop - he's actively designing for 8x8 books. :goodvibes

ETA: I just asked otterpop if he has a Duffy the Disney Bear.

I would like the passport in Word if you are still willing to email it. I can't send a personal message because I am new to the site. I am not sure how I can get you my information because I am new and can not post my email here either.
Thanks for your help!

You can leave a request with your email at the end of this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1509917&highlight=epcot+passport I think they have the file in both MS Word and PDF. (Or you can go comment on 9 other threads - you only need 10 posts to PM.) :goodvibes

Ask and you shall receive!

I just uploaded 4 different Duffy 10x10 pages to my photobucket site.

I'll see what I can put together for a 10x10 (or 8x8) cover...

Although a little different, I took MusicMouse's cover and just put it on a background. I also included just the background that you can use as the back cover. The background is not mine and unfortunately, I can't give credit to where credit is do, as I don't recall who/where I got it from!

Hi! I am brand new here and so excited to find this thread! We leave for our trip to WDW in 12 days...surprising our 4 and 6 year olds...I can hardly keep it to myself anymore!! Anyway, one of the MANY things remaining on my "to do before we go" list is to get autograph books made. I so LOVE the covers that you have done, Music Mouse, and was wondering if I could impose on you to do 2 more.

Alec's Autograph Book 2011 (red)
CeCe's Autograph Book 2011 (purple)

What a great community you have here - so glad to have found you all.

Yes, you can upload these to make a photobook. You can use this image or any other for the back cover. I used a photo of the castle with fireworks going off on my last one. There are a ton of great photos here http://www.wdwmemories.com/index.html. Here are your covers :goodvibes:

Did anybody ever think of printing them on unlined index cards it works just as well as the card stock in my opinion and you can get like 500 of them at staples for a reasonable price

Yes, it has been done. It may take a card or two to figure out how to load them into your printer, but it does work! :goodvibes

I only use the 4x6 unlined index cards. For my character meals I load them into a small photo book from the $1 store. I have a much larger photo book (Holds 50 cards back to back) & I take 2 of them with me to the parks in case I see a specific character. Having them in the photo book makes it easier to get them in/out when coming accross the characters. Also, I can then include the autograph cards in my photo book with a copy of the child getting the autograph. I did this for my 4 year great-nieces and according to my niece they still get out the photo-book i made them and talk aobut the different autographs and characters they saw. :goodvibes

Hello Chaoscent,

I have pictures coming from Artscow, did you attach the photos to the index cards or did you print them up on index cards? :confused3I have alot saved on my computer and I'm probably going to print those up at Wal-Mart, what do you recommend or do you have any suggestions as to where to print them up and who do I have make the spiral binder, if that's what you suggest. Going in August so we do have time, I was just wanting to make these for the very first time for my whole family, especially our 2 DD's. Desperately need your assistance, :worship:I await your response and thank you very much for your time. Have a Magical Day. :thumbsup2 :wizard:

If you read through this whole thread plus go here
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2430262
you will get a variety of suggestions to your questions. I print them directly on the 4x6 cards from my computer. Other people have them printed and binded at the site they use (many are recommended in this thread). I did it the way I did it because I knew I wanted to put them in a photo book. My niece bought the girls an autograph book and I did the autograph cards. :cheer2: If you are doing them on photo paper there is a Sharpie (mentioned somewhere in this thread) that works well on photo paper so you don't need to put themon a card. Again, read the thread and ask questions. There are many different ways to do this and whatever works for you is right. :thumbsup2 Penny:hippie:
