A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

honestly I did not select the type of paper
I ordered the 9cent discout prints, it is glossy
but I tried writing on it with a sharpie and it worked fine

I know this thread is for autograph books, but I am hoping someone on here can point me in the direction or actually has the epcot passport document for word.

Thanks
heather

Just curouis what kind of paper did you have them printed out on so you can autograph them??

Most people seem to prefer matte finish for their photo autograph cards, because it looks a little nicer (not too shiny). Glossy works with the Sharpies too, though, if you aren't given a choice. :goodvibes

these are awesome...

how do I get a whole journal together? just print it out and take to a copy store to bind?

Yep! Choose the designs you like, print them out, cut them down to size and take them in to be bound. Be sure to keep in mind that 1 1/2" is about the maximum thickness that they can spiral bind. :goodvibes

AHhh! I need help. I must be doing this totally wrong. I am following the directions in post #1. I found designs on Natalies's page and clicked on it then I save picture as and it went into my picture file on the computer. Now when I go into word. I try to paste the image and it just shows the file folder with the jpg under it, not actually the picture. Can anyone help!! Please

Heather

Open the picture file, right-click on the picture thumbnail, choose "copy", and then paste it into your Word document. Did that work? :goodvibes

no, that is what I did. Maybe I saved it wrong. :(

I didn't change the margins could that be the problem. I am not sure how to do that.

In Photobucket? Yes, if you save it at that size, that should work. You don't need to resize your pictures until you get them into MS Word. It's much easier to do it in that program.

OK, let's start from the begining. Try this: go to Natalie's Photobucket, choose a card design, click on it to make it larger. Right click on it, choose "save picture as", and save it in a new folder, but his time create the new folder in your "Document" file instead of your picture file. Sometimes the default photo programs in our computers do weird things when you try to cut and paste. Try putting that one picture in MS Word and see if it works. Hang on, we'll figure this out! :goodvibes

didn't work. Does it have anything to do with the margins cause I can't figure out how to change that?

nevermind the margins are already at 1 inch.

Ok I took all the advise here and other threads, downloaded, saved, agonized over decisions on who to cut from the books, spent about 10 hours on artscow editing and arranging and finally ordered my books!

I'll post pics when I get them. Thanks for everyone's help.

Now its time to start on Tshirts.

Awesome! I can't wait to see the pics! If it's not already on your to-do list, you should try the Spiral Tie-dye Mickey Head T-shirts. We got more great comments from the Cast Members about these than any other shirt that I made! :goodvibes

MusicMouse, what a nice person you are to help people out. :goodvibes Penny

Ok so I have been doing some serious research on how to make the authogrph books. My only question is once i have all my pages what should I attach my cover to?
