A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow will be regularly appearing in Frontierland, starting April 11th. Be sure to include them in your books for your upcoming trip! :goodvibes

DisneyBliss2, if you find too hard like I did, well somewhat hard and too complicated, what I did was save all the pictures to a file, downloaded them onto a disc for my digital camera and now I will just take it to Walmart or Kinkos, which they both can print up your pictures and attached the spiral and make it an autograph book, Walmart is way cheaper though and I am making 3 autograph books, with about 230 photos, from MusicMouse and Chaos1Cent. But if you want to the crafting yourself, then I applaud you :cheer2:, the way everyone else did it. Guess I'm not too computer literate :confused3and I guess I am cheap too, just can't see wasting the ink for 230 photos. Enjoy and have a Magical Day. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I will be anxious to hear how these come out and how much it is! Time is a big issue for me.

How exciting, I made cards for these characters years ago, thinking maybe I would see them, and now I can use them.

If you keep them loose and then get them bound later how would you go about getting the characters to sign them at the park. My DBF and I are going in October this year and we are making an autograph book again and we are thinking about keeping it loose while we are there (using a coupon book to keep them in) and then getting them bound when we get back. However, I am unsure of how to go about this...or it even makes sense to do this?

Any suggestions? Comments? about doing this?

I did my own last year. Here's my link to how I solved that problem.

Looking for your opinion on my autograph book idea. I bought a faux leather daytimer that has a photo cover and is 5X7. I like it because it is a 3 ring binder and has slots for cards and zippered compartments, dividers and a notepad. This is our first trip to Disney World and I read that it is useful to have a place to store meal cards, fast passes, room keys etc. so thought this would work and it is sturdy enough for the characters to write on. I plan to print some of the Disigners autograph cards on card stock (there are so many good ones to choose from :).

I don't think I have read that anyone else has done this so maybe there is a reason not too that I have not thought of. I was at Michaels and one of the employees thought that they would work great and would be better to carry around then a scrapbook album or cardstock books since it is a more durable binder that is meant to be carried around. I also like the flexibility that I can move and remove pages that we do not find autographs for since it is a 3 ring binder. Let me know what you think and if there is any downfalls with this idea. The only downfall I can think of is the daytimer is a vertical orientation and the templates are all horizontal but I am not too worried about that.

Just curious if there any tabs/divider sheets that have been created? Looking to separate the character meals and star wars weekend in the album from the rest of the characters.

Thanks for letting me "think out loud". I think my DH thinks I'm crazy for all the research I have been doing to get ready for our trip - lol

I guess the only downside to this that I can think of is that it might not hold enough autograph cards. If you are going to WDW for a week, plan on getting around 60-65 autographs (it seems to be about the average). Other than that - go for it! If you decide that this is the way you want to go, be sure to let us all know how it works out in the parks when you come back. We are always looking for new and fun (and practical) ideas!! :goodvibes

Hey Mammaz, I will search the internet for Pirate Goofy, if I find some, I will let you know. A good place to maybe find them is on Photobucket, I just found one, if you go to Photobucket.com and type up Pirate Goofy and click on most viewed, you'll probably find the one you're looking for. Hope you find the one you like, if you find a different one or a better one, please let me know, please. Have a Magical Day. :thumbsup2:surfweb: :thumbsup2

I swore I posted these somehwhere, but I can't find them. Is this what you were looking for?
