A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

This is such a great thread - and I'm so thankful for all our very talented disigners :cool1: Could I please have four Autograph covers personalized with the names:

Sawyer
Campbell
Grace
Cullen

Thank you so much!

If you like mine, give them a try; they will work, as they are designed for 10x10 @ 300 dpi.

I used them thru artscow for an 8x8 book with no "errors", but I can't tell you how the final product looks, as it's being shipped as I type!

I'm hoping to add some pages over the next few days for the character meals...

Thanks. I did plan to use some of yours but I'm gettnig a ! when I enlarge them that large. I'll go back and try again tomorrow. Maybe I didn't enlarge them before saving, but I spot checked several I had downloaded and they were correct....Oh well, I'm having fun playing with them....

So I've spent the last few days spending way too much time in Arts Cow.

I decided to combine our passport and Auto book into one so I picked the 80 page book....now think I may have a few too many pages, but I'm thinking I might add a few activity sheets in the back to fill it up that we can use for killing time in line....or journal pages to record her memories in the same book with the autos and passport....

Here's what I've done so far...obviously still a ways to go, but excited that it looks like it's coming together.

I have photoshop, but am clueless when it comes to designing with it so this was all done with just backgrounds in arts cow, etc.

We're going back! :cool1: I made two books last year for my kids from this thread, and they were a huge hit with both my kids and the characters. I even had a couple of people waiting in lines ask me where I bought them! Well, this year my kids decided they only want one book to share. With that in mind, would it be possible to get a cover made with something like "The Gill Family Autographs" or "The Gill Family Vacation" on the it? Maybe in blue? Whichever you think works the best would be fine - you're the expert! Also, could I maybe get a back cover made, possibly with Phineas & Ferb characters that says Walt Disney World 2010 if it's not too much trouble?

Also a question - last year I printed my own cards on cardstock. This year I was thinking about having a photo book made (I keep seeing the deals about snapfish and artscow posted). I thought I read that photo cards should be printed in matte finish, but now I can't find that anywhere. Is this true? Thank you so much for your help and advice!

I found a cover for my son Zachary but would love one for my daughter Skyler. Thank you so much. I have no idea where to start but my guess is that the cover would be a good place!

Can someone please help me ? I'm looking for Phineas, Ferb and Perry Autograph pages can't seem to find them.

Yes, it did say in earlier posts that Matte finish is better. If you do glossy, a sharpie would still work.

Could I please get two autograph covers for my girls... Pink writing please :D

Ashlyn's Autographs 2011
Alexis' Autographs 2011

Thanks so much!

Beware!!! I uploaded my pictures to snapfish and they cancelled my order because of disney copyright. I guess I'll go through shutterfly.

I havent read the entire thread but did read the instructions on the first page. So if you go the route to have the images printed as a picture by Walgreens or somewhere, when you assemble wont you see the back of the picture that usually has small writing on the back of it? Does that make sense? Or is there another step I am missing? Or do you then put the photo on cardstock? So confused!

Yes, you will be able to see the print on the back, the images are in the front only. Once you have them bound in a flipbook style only the fronts will show as you flip through them anyway. You can mount them onto cardstock, but it isn't necessary. :goodvibes
