We leave tomorrow and I'm just now getting to do the books. I'm thinking I want to just use Donatalies designs and print them out on 4x6 matte photo paper at a one hour photo place. Then once we get home I can put the autograph page into a photo album next to a picture of each kid getting the autograph/meeting the character. Will her designs print out ok like that? I just blew through a ton of printer ink making t-shirts so I don't know if I'd have enough ink left to do the cards too...plus I'm thinking doing it as photos will be easier and I don't need to bind them. Help!!! I don't want to buy another generic autograph book.

Thank you SO MUCH MusicMouse!!! I'm glad to hear they'll print out fine, makes it less stressful for me. I work best under pressure....still have to pack my bags as well as the kids!

Calm down! Jake is replacing Leo at H&V, but June is still there, and there is no definitive word on whether or not the Little Einsteins are being totally phased out. Trust me, if you take the time to stand in line and get autographs, there is no way that you will end up with a "blank book (they're EVERYWHERE!). Remember, no matter how many or how few autographs that you end up with is really up to you, and no matter how many you get you will still have a really cool souvenir.

Just curious...for anyone that has printed autograph cards either as photos at a place like walmart, or as cards themselves somewhere else, have you ever been hassled about the content of the cards being "copyright protected"? The reason I ask is because when I went to pick up my prints today (doing the cards as 4x6 photos to go in an album along with a picture of each child getting said autograph) the cashier made me sign a copyright release form and was giving me a hard time that the images I was using were illegal/stolen.

Now I'm kind of nervous that I signed something...

That doesn't mean that they won't move the Little Einsteins somewhere else (I met Leo and Annie inside the Art of Animation Studio last year). If June is still at H&V, I doubt they will remove Annie, Leo, and Quincy completely. They are still being shown daily on the Disney Channel. Let the dust settle, and then we can see what the new character lineup is.

Walmart is often VERY careful about copyrighted images (more so than any other photo printing company). They actually check all of the pictures that they print. If they asked you to sign a release form, it was probably to cover themselves legally in case you were trying to sell your book on Ebay or something. Like Disney, they are a big company and are often the target of lawsuits. These are just for your personal use, so don't worry about it. Go, get autographs, and have a good time!

Thats what I figured, but you never know! I'm just worried that they'll report me or something?! These photos are for personal use only for my 2 kids. In fact, once they are signed and have been put in the album, they will probably never leave my house again. Now I wish I had left myself more time to use another store and not have had to worry...but they are the only ones who do 1-hour matte prints. If I wanted glossy, it would have been a different story.

She also has a lot of MVMCP cards (including many generic ones). If you would like MVMCP cards for the more recent characters, you should put a request out on the main board in a new thread.

MusicMouse, just read on wdwmagic that they will be removing Jiminy Cricket, Pocahontas, Terk and Lilo & Stitch from AK as of December 4.

MusicMouse, just read on wdwmagic that they will be removing Jiminy Cricket, Pocahontas, Terk and Lilo & Stitch from AK as of December 4.

Lilo and Stitch will still be available at other Parks (and their breakfast), but there is no word yet about whether Jiminy or Pocahontas will be moved elsewhere. Terk looks like he may be being removed permanently. There are also rumors circulating as to who will be replacing them, but I am not at liberty to say anything about it right now. I appreciate that you are trying to help, but until these things are actually announced confirmed by Disney or one of my sources who are actually in the Parks, I try not to post them here. WDWMagic is usually reliable, but doesn't always tell the whole story right away. I am keeping an eye on things. As soon as I know something for certain, I will post it here and update the character list.
