A silly or strange question I know.

Our whole family is addicted to white noise! We all run fans in our rooms at night when we sleep... so the first thing we pack when going anywhere is our small portable fan. I got it at walmart for about $9. I don't think a noise machine would work for us because we are also addicted to the breeze.

We have a very compact white noise machine we take on trips and use a small air filtration unit at home. And I have discovered that when I am absolutely desperate for white noise to block outside noises, tuning the radio between stations to static will work in a pinch(smile).
