Hello all. I have booked our ADR's around the porn I've been looking at for the past few months. So I thought I'd better repay the favor.

We are headed to the world 9/30 (check in 10/1) -10/11. We will be staying at Pop. I didn't know if I'd start this so far in advance but thought heck others are so why NOT!!! We go to WDW every year at this time to celebrate DD's Birthday (10/4). With the added bonus of F&WF.

A little about the cast of characters you will meet on this "shapely" adventure.

Our love for the world started back in 96. I was about to buy a new car. I was watching TV an saw Oprah on location in WDW and thought forget the car we're going to WDW!!! For a wedding present we bought into DVC. Which we sold to have our first DD!

Me-I'm 31 now a "Pooh" sized women thanks to my husband and his forcing me to try things and "Eat some more Honey you know you want too!!!" Gotta Love him. I never really ate more than a 1/2 a sandwhich all day long. My favorite meal was a PB&J. Now however my lovely DH has opened my eyes to the world of food and I LOVE it. My butt however not so much! I will try anything once. LOVE all kind of food except seafood. I will have a bite or two but wouldn't order it as a meal. Looking to try new things this trip.

DH-Will turn 40 during trip. LOVE ANYTHING I mean ANYTHING. Will try ANYTHING. He watches Andrew Zimmerman and would eat the stuff he eats. Really! :sad2: The only thing he doesn't eat much of is desserts. He does like sweets and every once in awhile will have a craving for one. His usual dessert is another beer.:rolleyes1 LOVES his beer.

DD(1)- Will turn 9 on this trip. She is a VERY adventurous child. Will try anything her father asks her too! She LOVES LOVES LOVES ribs, crab, and anything chocolate. She even likes frog legs  I know, right. A few of my meals will go to her. Anywhere there is a lobster or crab legs on the menu she will get my meal and I will get her's. You will see her eat a bucket of ribs from HDDR. Other than that if it's like our last trip she'll eat chocolate cake for every meal. W/ ribs and crab legs thrown in there!

DD(2)-She'll be 9 months when we go so I don't think you'll really care what she eats. Although I'd be more than glad to post pics of her jars of baby food. However it may have the opposite reaction that I'm looking for.

During our trip we will be joined by my family. 10/3-10/9. They all however are on the DDP. I will photo their meals when we have them together but not the ones we don't. They don't get the whole picture thing! None of them have been to WDW before.

My Brother's families cast...
DBrother- 35 Just like my DH (have the same name too!) Will eat anything. LOVES food. He is a type 1 diabetic though. So you should see some sugar free desserts.

DSIL- 22- Just got married (6/6/09) She's a Picky Picky eater. She likes white rice and chicken. But only off the bone, NO sauce, or skin. :confused3

DNiece - 9- LOVES fruits and veggies. Is a picker. Picks things off her plate. Doesn't really eat a whole meal. Except at my house. I use BUTTER in my cooking. Butter always makes it better! Loves sweets too!

DNiece- 1- Doesn't eat much at all actually. Just munches on crackers.

Also joining the group is my parents

DMom- Age Unknown she stopped at 39 and stuck there. She's a light eater. Loves seafood. She really wants to try new things this trip.

DStep-Dad- Just turned 60. Is totally a steak and potatoes kind of guy. I do mean every meal! Not real adventurous but hoping he'll open up. Loves to drink w/ my hubby. This could be a bad thing

So that's our cast of character. I hope you'll all join me on this "shapely" adventure around the World. I am hoping to go "LIVE" but don't know if it will work. I have a 9 month old so it may be hard to find the time. We shall see.

I hope it looks good to everyone and you'll join the adventure that makes us more "shapely". Oh who am I kidding let's eat and get FAT people!

Can't wait! Dining is a huge part of the Disney experience for me! As a pooh sized woman myself, I never understood the expression "too much food"! :rotfl: Have a great trip!

i'm in! our trips overlap slightly...can't wait how we both do on the dxddp!! :)

Welcome. I do believe I've signed on for your report too! I was thinking the same thing you said..."when can we get 3 TS meals for $32?" I plan on trying new things and not caring about the price. Can't wait to hear about your experiences too! Have a great trip.

Signing on!

Welcome!

We've hit the 40 day mark today. DH has added a few spots he would like to try. He really wants to try Marakesh (sp) and some sushi. So now I'm trying to figure out where we can get some sushi? I don't eat the stuff so it has to have other things on the menu as well.
I was trying to leave some open spots but it loks as if they are filling up.

They're going to have to roll us out of the resort when we get ready to leave.

Tokyo Dining has both sushi and other non-raw fish stuff. I also hear it's very good. Teppan Edo has sushi appeitzers and then the hibachi dinner (where they cook in front of you). I also believe I heard that you can get sushi at the TS Kona Cafe. The sushi bar is outside the restaurant though, like a walk up counter. I hear it's VERY good and they will bring it to your table. Might only be considered an appetizer though?

Thanks. I'm looking into Teppan Edo. My family LOVES to go to Kodo (hibachi dining) where we live. This is where DH usually gets his sushi too! I'm not a huge fan of it but whatever the family wants.

I'm in! Sounds like some great places for chowing down!
