I consider the hat the landmark as that's what is advertised on the maps and on the Disney site!

Note to everyone: the list will continue to change until we leave! I may never be satisfied with my list but feel free to PM me with new ideas (can't give all my secrets away)!

Our distractions are sure to change as well... 201 days is a long waaaaay away!

I had a person come up to me one time and take a picture of DS's home made shirt....so you may try to do that, find someone with a home made shirt....or a certain type of ears...or a kid eating a mickey bar. Of course ask the parent's permission before taking photos of their child, I didn't have any issues with it, once I knew it was for a hunt!!! How about hidden mickeys? See who can find the most of them also!!! Just a thought. I'll try to think up more for ya'll.....different things, not just the obvious!!

Here's a thought...

Have the whole thing culminate in a dinner...where you go through each item point by point and see what success each has had...

Tallying the score as you go...

WHen you're finished...the "Winning COuple" gets their meal paid for by the other couple (Not including kids).

That gives you a chance to recount exciting, interesting and funny things that may have happened while gathering scavengar items.

I have an old scavenger hunt list that I've saved from another post like this...if you are interested...I can send it to you... PM me...

It's okay... we've got DDP! Anywho... the prize (much cheaper and way better) has been agreed upon! DH thinks I'm insane for agreeing to it (he actually called me a dork!) but I think it's the best idea ever...

Still waiting for the week of the 26th to come and go...

Now that I've finished my scavenger list - after much editing... I came up with fantastic ideas for the challenge if I do say so myself. I must find something else to dwell over for the next few weeks!

Airfare is taken care of and registered with Disney, we've added our hoppers, and our food plans are as set as they can be. What next... focus on my diet for Mickey? Get my hair cut? Wait... that's already happening. Troll the Dis religiously for emergency refurbs? Rumors?? Spend countless hours writing this trip report??? woohoo

So, I just noticed my trip countdown is under 200 days!!! It seems like last week it was still over 300. I've got to get to work!

Things to do:

• pray for FD
• consider switching my hotel ressie
• pray some more
• scour the Dis for refurb rumors (when exactly is Toontown being closed down permanently?? Will Barnstormer even be open??)
• join countless "when will FD be announced" threads
• buy some of our incidentals for the trip (I dollar stores!)
• pray to the FD gods
• buy some luck
• find creative (and legal...) ways to make extra spending money for the trip as my first idea crashed before me...
• keep making insane lists to do to kill time
• print off multiple copies of my GAD voucher in case I lose one... or two...

I've talked about planning this trip so much that I've brought a co-worker over to the pixie dust side. She's been reading my Passporter at work and I'm leading her down the path of the Mouse!

So... anyone know when free dining will be announced??

you can plan, then replan your Dining ressies - FD if announced usually comes around the start of april (or end of march if your a disney visa card holder) scour the Dis for news, dining and resort reviews!

Thats what im doing- it appears our trips are close together!

Also, so you know, i told DF about the scavenger hunt and we are thinking of doing our own ( im a disney lover and hes just getting there) so it should be funny to see what he comes up with!

subbing... you two are hilarious! My friends and I will also be going at the same time in September. I'm the only one with a hubby tagging along... they both managed to ditch theirs and get to share a room and everything! So while they're having tons of sleepover fun I have to share a room with a boy!

Have you thought of a picture at the petting zoo at AK, picture brushing a goat or sheep. Picture with a hidden Mickey. Picture at the playground at AK where you dig up Dino bones. A picture with a Cast Member with a certain name that you choose, getting a close picture of the people and the name tag. A picture with a Cast Member from a Country of your choosing. Picture with another visitor wearing a tacky tourist shirt.

OMG- I just remembered this bachelorette party game we used to play called 'That Guy' where you were supposed to get pictures of various versions of that guy that is always at bars... you know, tatooed guy, mullet guy, still in his work clothes guy, etc. I'm sure you could Disney this up and make it 'That Tourist' and look for people wearing crocs, t-shirts from the DISign boards, mickey ears, trading pin lanyards, etc.

The first time we played That Guy I was nervous that people would be offended but once I realized that if you have a good attitude it's actually pretty fun and I never met anyone who didn't want to get their picture taken with me!

Those are great idea! I might just have to use a couple, won't so which ones though HAHAHAHHAHAHA Iam so evil... no really thanks, I have had to change a few because they will be a bit too hard

As for our post thanks for coming along... I was talking to Jenn on the Phone the other day and I think she almost died, I said I kept waiting for peopel to tell us to discuss our obsessions over the phone, because for awhile it looked as though we might be the only one involed in this tread, which in short would more or less be a very long drawout phone conversation and people might think that we are crazy and not have anything better today that sit on our computers and countdown the days till we are in disney , which by the way it is nothing like that I don't spend the whole day, just 1/2 of it ... okay okay.. 3/4 I fessed up I am a tad crazy, but it is not all day, I mean a girl does have to sleep, and I hangout with my DBF and talk about Disney too.. did I happen to mention he thinks I'm crazy and has realized he is in for many many many future Disney trips in our future . He has to keep reminding we are coming back, because I am trying to cram in everything I can think of into one trip . Our first and last trip was a Caribbean cruise last November and when we got home he kept telling people I never let him relax , so I promised that I would schedule in relaxation time. Yes you heard me I schedule in relaxation time, I am a HUGE planner. I have to knwo what I'm doing and when I'm doing it . I can be spontaneous, sometimes , I just like to knwo what I doing about 80% of the time is all. So anywho, I still plan to get our pre-trip info posted, will try this weekend
