Also, we've been accepted as guest bloggers for our trip!!!! We got a response this morning. Is that too cool or what? We'll be doing a blog on WDW for the holidays, including pics, each day of our trip. My DH and I are so excited about this. I am so glad my DH suggested that we look into this. Hopefully, doing these PTRs and TRs will have prepared me for doing this.

This is going to be the best trip ever!

Today we got final confirmation of what we're doing as guest bloggers of our trip! I'm so pysched!!! We're going to do an introduction on ourselves and about our pre-planning. Now, we're just working out the details on whether to do a blog each day of the trip or every two days or so.

Doing the guest blogging is an exciting part of this trip that we hadn't originally anticipated. You'll be at WDW before us. It will be fun to compare notes on our trips.

While going through the different threads here, I found a cool feature that Disney is offering. It allows you to customize a WDW desktop for your computer. It's very easy to use. My DH just created one for my laptop. If you're interested in using it, here's the link:

Hi, there!

I would absolutely love to start packing! The only thing that is holding me back, besides the fact that we have six weeks left , is that we have absolutely no idea of what to bring with us. We don't know if we should bring warm clothes or t-shirt type stuff. The weather over here has fluctuated quite a bit. On October 28th, we actually had snow, and I don't mean just a few flurries! Then, we've had warm enough temps to go without a jacket. Oh, I can't wait to start packing!!! That will mean the trip is seriously around the corner.

You're welcome! I thought it was pretty cool, too. I know you can create your own desktops, but it is a neat tool they're offering.

I can't believe I forgot to mention this. Lately, I've been monitoring the Disney store website for Christmas style clothes. Last year, I liked quite a few items, but we decided to hold off and wait till the trip to buy Disney Christmas clothes till we arrived at WDW. Made sense at the time. Then, we arrived, only to discover there weren't many Disney Christmas items to choose from, at all!

Back to present day, they have two sweatshirts and a sweater that are really cute, on their site, right now. Of course, I'm going to wait till I see more items, but I can definitely see myself getting some stuff this time.

What do you think?

I have actually been looking at the Disney Shopping website too because I thought it would be fun to wear something Christmas-y to MVMCP. I hope they come out with more stuff! Otherwise maybe I'll just get one of the Mickey Santa hats.

I hope so, too. I will probably bring my Mickey Santa hat back with me. Even with no other holiday clothes, it makes any outfit festive!!!

I came onto the boards today, to discover that my trip ticker wasn't visible. So, I tried to go to the site where it came from, and surprise, surprise. . .it didn't exist!

No prob. I went to another website that offers WDW trip tickers, and I was so happy to see that they have one for POP!!! Every other site with tickers seem to only have certain resorts for the banners, but I'd never seen one for POP. So, it all worked out after all!

I am coming back to edit this posting, a day later. Today, the website I had used for my first ticker is back up. Ah, well! I like my new ticker, anyway.

You'll be able to find some winter/holiday clothes, but honestly, there wasn't much to choose from. We had even hoped to get some ornaments with the current year on them, when we went last year, and it was slim pickings. There was one ornament available in some places, with the current year on them, though they had plenty for the following year. We figured it was like this, because it was the end of the year, so they sold most of their inventory in time for the new year's merchandise.

I'm going to hope that they have more choices of clothes and ornaments this year, though. You never know. At any rate, just in case, I may get some stuff from the Disney store website before the trip. Couldn't hurt.
