A Royal Knight to Remember ?

I have read some posts of people who have signed up for this event and it seems they are under the impression it is a PIN event. I called WDW Special Events and was told this is a Merchandise Event not a pin event..
Has anyone else been told this?
The information handed out at the 999 Haunts Ball made it tough to tell which it is going to be.

I read a notice on another board that it is most definitely a merchandise event. But I'm still going!!

That's all the info I can find. I emailed them (through the link on the first site) for more specific information and never got a reply.


I don't want to go, but wanted to find out if it will affect my plans at MK that day.

Edited to add: I'm sure people think it's a pin event because it's on the dizpins site. I thought maybe it was a pin event myself.

The event details are still being planned at this time however we can share the following. The ticket price includes buffet dinner, costume party & dancing, gallant quest, interaction with dozens of Disney characters, chance to ride many Fantasyland attractions, special goodies, exclusive event gift, and the opportunity to purchase specially designed event merchandise.
We are encouraging Guests to dress up for the event. The Magic Kingdom will close at its regularly scheduled time and our event will be held after hours for event Guests only.

I wish they would tell us more about it or atleast what merchendise they are going to have. After 999 Happy Haunts I think I need more info before signing up for another event.
