Before I ask, I hope this is a good place to post this. If not, I apoligize!

Okay...

Well, Delswife, let me first congratulate you on your AMAZING trip reports! I'm behind by a few (only on 15...slow reader :rolleyes:) but I love reading about your trip!

My request to you is to share your secrets to following in your footsteps and writing the ultimate trip report...please? You don't have to, but I'm sure we would all love to have such a complete written memory of our trips to the world.

Do you write as you're there, take notes, where does it all come from?

If you'd share with us, thank you so much! Can't wait to read more!:sunny:

Hi! and Thank you!

Happy to share my secrets;

4 simple rules;

1)Miles of video tape. I am the type that by the time I get the video camera OUT and the lens cap OFF, what ever happened was over. Commando Nikki would tell the camera what ever it was that happened.

2)Photos, photos, photos. Not just the ride photos.
(I think I ended up with close to 30 ride photos and I am seeking help for that;) )

3)My family durning the last few chapters telling me what the remember from differant events. Of course they could have been telling me things in the begining which is why I will be re-writting it to add the stuff that got forgotten.

The most important thing,

4)Passporter. I got it as a gift from my mom and its the best way to keep tract of what happened on what days. I had my PS's written in it and at the end of each night I wrote down what I spent where and kept reciepts form the day in the pockets. I made notes in it like "terrorist duck" and "gravity test". I didn't carry it with me in the parks which is why I couldn't remember some CMs names. (I'd suggest a small notebook or scrap papers)

I hope this helps you.
