Thanks Jen The ankle... it's okay. I actually removed my cast the first day to go swimming Only to find out my MRI is postponed as insurance has yet to approve it I did pretty well if I do say so myself...MVMCP in a wheelchair was no good at all

Tuesday December 3rd So as you may have guessed, PAScrastination was in full effect, I got the girls off the bus at 3:16pm..and we packed from 3:20-3:50pm...and left for the airport with plenty of time. I was extremely nervous about the flight. DS5 was not wanting to fly, but I told him he was going on a jet...we boarded and the pilot grabbed him and before you know it.....my son the copilot

All the kids did great on the flight, we landed a few minutes ahead of schedule...grabbed our rental minivan and headed to Hard Rock

Check-in was easy peasy. We landed two connecting rooms on the lobby level with a nice garden view (and even had a wee bit of a water view). We unpacked, and hit the sack

He does!!! And he was asking so many questions, the pilot and the copilot seemed impressed with him. He loved it! I was crying, DH started tearing up and had to walk away

Wednesday December 4th

We had a 9am reservation for breakfast at the Kitchen in Hard Rock. I think it was about 820am and everyone was ready so I headed to the front desk to pick up my wheelchair (that was due to be there at 830) and waited.....sent the family to check in for breakfast and waited....the front desk took my cell and said they would call when it arrived so I went to eat. The kids LOVED it. There was rock music playing and our waiter was a sweetie. Food was good (not great) but it was typical buffet. The omelette station was pretty good. Loews had a promo that if you stay 3 nights kids eat free at the hotels restaurants...and with my clan..this saved us 40 bucks!!!





After breakfast I called the rental company..OH we didn't tell you, you have to set up a time for delivery.....(uh OKAYYYYYY I did...) but she said the driver would be there in 30 min...40 min. later it arrived and he was very nice so all good. Off to Universal! DS12 complained how heavy I was while pushing me The walkway is beautiful and I never realized how close Hard Rock is to the parks compared to RPH and PBH Music was playing..all Christmas and the park was decorated even the "Macy's display window" It was really nice. Wait times were non existent, but we still used our express passes We rode every ride, Transformers twice. It was getting hot and time to swim.....NOW I was jealous so I took off my cast and drove to Walmart to get a swimsuit We had the pool to ourselves it was amazing!!!




Later on we got Chik-fil-A and headed back to chillax...we promised Katie early entry in the morning

Now you have me considering HRH due to it's being so close to the Parks, but then again I will probably never go on vacation again. the pool looks lovely and great deal on the kids eating free!

Minor bump on the road with the WC delay and doesn't DS12 realize Mama was helping him build up the muscles all the girls will be dying for soon? LOL
