a rant is in order

this is our 3rd night without heat
plumber landed yesterday to fix the boiler but disappeared to get a part and never came back , came again this morning and decided we didn't need the part after all and that the bolier is on its last legs but got it going and would last for another wee while ,
well that wee while hasn't lasted No HEAT to night again
and with getting new windows in today as well the house is bloody freezing

so looks like I'm going to have to get a new boiler after all , so there goes the money for doing up the sitting room

On a happier note the new windows are half done and the workers are making a really really tidy job won't know they are in the house
need to get out the paint brush soon too

I had no heat or hot water for a week a couple of weeks ago either so I know the feeling. Hope its sorted soon.

so looks like I'm going to have to get a new boiler after all , so there goes the money for doing up the sitting room

It's so frustrating when you've carefully budgetted for things and an unexpected expense comes along.

Its a lovely sunny day here , so its not to bad

window men came about 11am and first thing they done was put on the kettle but they are making no mess so I'm pleased don't know if they will be finished this evening , heres hoping

I know how you feel Jackie. My washing machine broke down on Monday, and my Cooker packed up yesterday. Thankfully I've just been down Curry's and ordered new ones, which are coming Friday. It's such a pain (as me and handwashing don't usually get on )

Hope you manage to get things sorted , I know exactly what your going through!!, it happened to us 2wk's before xmas 2005, Husband was seriously ill in hospital and boiler decided to pack up!!, so my DD's and I moved into my parents house , eventually sorted by xmas eve!!. Goodluck

for how long who knows

told another day will see the windows finished
so should get the house back in order
