Here is my take on the places we ate at last weekend:
The Mara at AKL - wonderful food. We enjoyed the QS meals for lunch. I didn't have breakfast here. One day I got the house salad with chicken and it was great. Good size, good amount of chicken and flavors. Another day we got sandwiches. I got a turkey melt and again it was great. The snacks are also great, especially the zebra domes and yogurt parfait. I loved the zebra domes so much I bought a bottle of the Amarula liquor they're made of!
Boma at AKL - breakfast buffet. It was really really good. There were only a few things that were African in nature which was a little disappointing. The rest were all items on any breakfast menu but the quality was very good. And they have this juice that's a mixture of passion fruit and others. Very good. I didn't try to dinner buffet, which would have had more exotic dishes. Maybe next time. :)
Wolfgang Puck Express at DD - absolutely awesome! We ate here twice. The pizza was flat bread and wonderful. (The only problem was the second time we ate there, they burned my boyfriend's so they offered him free soup while he waited for another. But, the wait was short because it was undercooked but we didn't complain. I should have had them bake it a bit longer.) I had the mexican chicken melt and it was great.
Raglan Road Quick Service side - all we had here were the french fries aka "chips" and they were one of the best I've ever had. We got the bacon cheese dip which was very thin but very good.
Brown Derby at DHS - this was our second time eating here and honestly, I won't eat here again. We only did it to get the Fantasmic package. The food is high quality, but it has funky sauces and ingredients that we just don't like. You can't understand half the menu. If your pallette is into that, great. But we're not. My steak was high quality. I get it Med well and it was tender. But for two table service credits it wasn't worth it to us.
I would look over the menu on allears.net to see if it's right for you. The desserts were great though...the banana one and the toffee one...Yum!
Big River Grille at the Boardwalk - So I read the reviews beforehand and they all said it was average food but I wanted to try it anyway. Well, the reviews were right on. The food was okay and quite bland. The best thing was the chocolate cake. It was thick and amazing!! :)
Rose and Crown dining room at EPCOT - this was our best table service. The food was great! Between us we had the mixed greens and scotch egg as an appetizer. Both were great. I had the chicken and mushroom pie which was fantastic. The white gravy was full of pepper flavor and not too heavy. The pastry on top was puffy and good. My boyfriend had the Surf and Turf, cooked perfectly. For dessert, the chocolate scotch cake and the sticky toffee pudding were yummy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place! My boyfriend also got a scotch flight along with a pint of beer and he enjoyed that a lot.

Hope my quick review helps some of you!

Thanks!

I am feeling even more excited that I chose MM for our Fantasmic package over BD and bout choosing Rose & Crown in Epcot during the Illuminations show so we can see it from the patio. Sounds yummy! :)
