Yey! We're booked for December 10-14!!

:jumping1::jumping1:

We didn't think we'd be able to pull off a vacation this year at all, much less to Disney. But we really wanted to do a December trip with the MVMCP before DD4 goes to Kindergarten next year. (We might be willing to pull her out of school for a trip but we don't know how "cooth" that is yet lol.) So we're going for a quick 4 night trip, which is cool with us because we just went last year and DD is still too young to do a lot of stuff, staying in the ASMu. I think dd will love the theming of this resort! And hey weren't just there to sleep. But we are over the top thrilled about 3 things. The first is the Christmas Party, the second is that dd won't be potty training this time (we booked the trip 6 months in advance, who would have thought she'd still be potty training at 3+ years?! lol) and the third is that it's our first Disney trip that won't be unbearably HOT lol. Our family trips plus the trips we've taken with our own parents have always been in the middle of summer. (Well 3 out of 4 of our parents were teachers so it kind of made sense lol.) The heat was "uncomfortable" when we were younger, but tolerable and worth it for the fun. But the trip we took last August made us realize we're older now and we have limits! The thought of it being in the 60's and 70's with the combination of (hopefully) lower crowds is just delightful. Can't wait to read everyone's tips for Christmas time!! And I can't wait to see dd4's face when she sees Pixie Hollow! :goodvibes

Have a wonderful time. I will be in disney for the exact dates, staying at CSR!! You will enjoy the party, the parade is the best thing, IMHO. I know the feeling about the heat. We are going October 1st and I am questioning myself if I am actually crazy for going at that time. I love the wintertime in Florida but hubby is now scared to fly in the winter because of the plane crash that occurred here locally in Clarence this past year.

I'll be there then too but we are staying one extra day and POR. I am excited to go and be there for the less crowds and heat. Did you add the DDP to your trip now that it's free?

Yes actually, it's kind of a funny story. We didn't have free dining, we had gotten in on the buy one get one free park passes from SWV, which wasn't that great for us cause we are an odd number (3). But we realized yesterday (from reading the boards) that the ASMo we had booked was one of the "Pop Warner" reserved resorts and we'd be there during their time period. So we changed the res to Pop Century and got to switch to free dining which I think will save a bit more, plus the airfare had gone down a tad. Yey! I wish I had enough time off to stay an extra day or two, each night only adds like $90ish, gah lol. Maybe I'll have to "catch the flu" or something :sick: :rolleyes1 :laughing:
