A question regarding the growth of WDW

If I understand your point correctly, I think I agree. Certainly Iger's moves have given the company Time. I would have argued that under Eisner, Disney had very little time left. Iger, for all his failures has stabilized the company such that, should at some point in the future, an executive comes in that "Gets it" there will be something left to work with.

This is less true with WDW than it is with DL and the Movie studios.

Exactly.

Iger's successor will be key.

WDW is another topic entirely.

  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
  • Avatar at Animal Kingdom
  • Magic Bands/FP+
  • Polynesian DVC
  • Thor 2
  • Frozen
  • Saving Mr. Banks
  • Disney Springs
Signs of growth or set back? :thumbsup2

It's too bad Frank Wells died.

When it was time to decide to build Splash mountain Eisner said "we can't afford to build it.

Wells said "we can't afford NOT to build it.

That says it all.
