A question...just for fun

I've been home sick for 3 days and I think all this cold and flu medication is making me ponder weird things...

So, if you were hosting a party and you dropped a plate of hors d'oeuvres on the floor, but no one saw you, would you put them back on the plate and serve them still?

I wouldn't. I would just whine and moan all night about how I dropped an entire plate of hors d'oeuvres.

:rotfl2: Could I pick them all up within 5 seconds?? :teeth: Nah, that's gross. I would be paranoid that they'd all start finding hair and stuff in them. :crazy2: Yuck, I really couldn't enjoy myself watching my guests eat "dirty" food. Wait, are these my inlaws?? I might reconsider. :earboy2:

Depends on if there's any more in the kitchen.

Three Second Rule :teeth:

I probably wouldn't be able to serve them. I have a really bad temper and I can envision myself throwing the plate and stomping on all the food.

Well if it is for Sherry's in laws, then heck yes ;)
Other than that, no I wouldn't be able to do it.

I wouldn't serve them to anyone else, but depending on what they were I might eat one myself. . .

It would depend on who I was planning on serving them to.... :)

Hope you feel better soon magicfan.
Thank you :flower:

BTW, I don't think I could serve them, either. I would let my dog have a couple, though. He helps me a lot when someone drops food. He's very helpful.

carpet or wood?

Only if I was serving them to people I didn't like in the first place.

Some people on one of my other boards had a field day earlier this year when I was home with pneumonia - I came up with some really wacky threads! In one of them I was trying to talk my trash can into blowing back home. Yeah, I knew exactly what I was typing in my threads but I thought it was funny and if it was making me laugh at the moment that was all that mattered. Apparently it is one of the threads that will not be forgotten in the near future.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

Let's just say that if I didn't have dogs, I'd be very tempted....

:rotfl: Quess what my kids are having for dinner...
now back to the kitchen to make something for the quests...

:rotfl2: The kids will never know. Maybe it will give them some extra vitamins too. Oops, I'm getting all silly now - must be time for bed.

If you're ever at one of my parties, you'd better beware. While I would not serve them (except to the dog) hubby says he would in a heartbeat. :rotfl:

Yes I would. Chances are, if I was hosting a party, my floor would have been cleaned to within an inch of its life. The 5 second rule would apply here.

I actually did that to a computer once. I thought I was the only one that did stuff like that lol.
