A Question for the Mods

mbb - aren't you a mod on the restaurants or off-site section? wanna police us too? We're a bad bunch!....

I mentioned the passport sticky, and a few other items a while ago on the Host Board, too

Just to answer someone else's question about how you get picked us a moderator - yes, all volunteer, and RL does get inthe way of Dis time quite a lot.... I was asked to be a co-mod over on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions Board over a year ago. We stay off-site quite a bit, were DVC/Timeshare owners, and our travel habits, and my posting habits - fit well over there, I guess

I enjoy co-hosting with Kilee...and if anything serious pops up here on the Canadian Boards, I'd let the WebMasters know as soon as I did

Some boards are busier than others, and require a greater hosting presence.

And us Canucks are a pretty good bunch

And get out my big "Moderator Stick" here at home???

I'd throw my hat out on offer to mod the board.. I'm here 12 times a day anyway..

But I suspect I may not be the first (or even 12th) choice.

There is an icon in the bottom of the poster section in a post (triangle with a line) that can be used to report a "bad post" to the moderators.

Did any of the posters in this thread bother to report the spam post?

If the post is bad enough for you to start this thread then it was bad enough for you to report it.

I hadn't posted in this thread, but I did report the post within 20 minutes of it going up.

Thanks for the kind words. I work at FRED FM here in town.. so I'm actually on the same floor as the Passport office.. which means I can usually find out stuff from the lovely gals there when they're on break etc. And I know exactly how long the line is everyday -- whether I want to know or not.

It's a happy coincidence for sure!
