A Question For Gun Owners

I don't think anyone has answered the question.

I'm asleep. I wake up and hear someone breaking into my house.

First I have to grab my glasses (no time for contacts), then I grab the gun that is locked somewhere and then I go grab the bullets that are locked somewhere else. Finally I load the gun and I am ready to go!

Even as a gun owner, do you think I am going to have time for all of that?

I answered several pages ago with a link to a gun safe that can be mounted to the back of a headboard or to the wall behind a nightstand etc. It has molded finger slots and 4 keys to enter the combination into. It is designed for quick and easy yet secure access to a loaded pistol.
