A question for CVS experts

My DD(23) got her own card a few months ago. It appears that this is a card that they had laying around the counter to use when someone didn't have one. The first time that she used it, the year to date savings printed at the bottom showed well over $1,000. Will this have any effect on her using it? Will she still get her quarterly ECB? or maybe she'll get more because it was used so much?

I'd hang on to it until the quarter ended, then I'd start with a new card. By getting a new card she can register it in her name and start getting the emails with coupons, etc. I used to get the emails, but of late it seems that CVS doesn't like me as much . But that way she can still get the quarterly ECBs attached to the original card and use them. After that, the card is wiped clean and is no more valuable than a brand new card.

Be sure she gets her ECBs for 4th quarter from that card before she gets rid of it. Sounds like she may get a pretty good one.
