A question for all you So-Cal locals....

Is your local weatherman saying anything about a break in the heat wave for the end of the week? (Thursday and beyond) I have looked on weather.com and it is saying upper 80's at the end of the week. What is the local forecast calling for? Still in the 100's??

Thanks!! I am trying to decide what to pack for our trip. Getting the laundry done up, all that stuff.....

Pretty much will barely cool down by Thursday and I heard it hit 106 there yesterday. I'd still expect 90's just in case. Disneyland always seems to have it's own weather system and ends up hotter than the forecast.

Already today is cooler here in the Valley. It was 108 at this time yesterday and its only 102 now. LoL. My apple weather dashboard is predicting cooler later in the week but still in the 90s. Break out the sweaters!

I also noticed weather.com seems to have one set of temps. for Anaheim, but on the boards here people have been saying it is much hotter - why the discrepancy?

If I can piggyback onto this discussion - what is the forecast for next week - starting on the 10th?

We were hoping for mid-80's like the 10 day forecast says -now we are getting worried it may be much higher??????

That's what I was thinking, too, Rhonna! Weather.com seems to be a little too low.

Well, I guess I will prepare for horrible heat and if it lets up any, I will be pleasantly surprised. We were at DL last July (06) during a heat wave too.

My weather widget based on AccuWeather.com said 105 for today and it was right on the nose. For tomorrow it says 87 - a drop of 18 degrees in one day - with highs in the lower 80's the rest of the week. I hope it's right.

Yeah they're saying 10 degrees cooler Wednesday and Thursday and into the weekend maybe high 80's. Hope so, for your sake and our's too!

Yeah, I don't know about that website, they are way off. They said it was only 101 for a high yesterday in Anaheim and shows a higher high temp for today, which is backwards. It also shows at least a 10% chance of rain every day, but this is a very dry heat with really low humidity and no clouds, so I don't know where they get their info!

I'm going to try AccuWeather instead. Maybe a more accurate forecast.

Hey, even if I wasn't coming out to California this weekend, I would still wish for y'all to have an end to the heat wave. Summer can be miserable!
