A Question about the Quick Service UDP

I see that there is a passholder appreciation rate for the Quick Service plan being offered for Buy One Get One 50% off. We plan to take advantage of this when we are at Universal over Labour Day weekend.

I just had a few questions.. Is there somewhere I can buy the plan in the park that isn't at a counter service? I think I recall seeing kiosks? And am I correct that we don't have to use all the plans on the day we buy them?

We are a party of 5 so we could only use the offer for 4 of us and pay full price for the 5th person. But I plan to get 3 of the offer on day one, giving us 6 QSDP. We will use 5 plans the first day.. then do the offer twice more the next day giving us 5 QSDP to use because we have the one leftover.

We plan to eat at the 3 Broomsticks and Simpsons and we always break even or better when we've used the plan at full price, so this will be a good deal for us. I just wanted to be sure I don't have to use the extra QSDP on day one, and was hoping I could stop and purchase them at a kiosk in the morning so that if we split up (which dd20 and her boyfriend will likely do) I can send the kids with their card.

In the fine print it says the credits all need to be used on the same day.

"Plans must be purchased and used on the same day during normal theme park operating hours".

I'm not sure how they will enforce this since it isn't the rule with the normal dining plan. We'll have to wait until someone actually tries it out before we can say for sure.

It's been noted in other threads that some people have been able to use their credits after the day of purchase. So while, not guaranteed, it may be possible! I've checked out the prices for what we'll want to eat and we'll come out ahead if we only use the entree and snack credits on the day of purchase.

The special of buy one, get 50% off second is the dp that expires same day

If you buy the counter service plan, with no special promo, expiration is longer and noted on the pass

It is either valid for 7 days or longer from first usage
