A question about sound files for the experts! :)

I'd like to insert a RealPlayer sound file in a post, is this possible? I know how to add .wav and .mid files, but the same sound tags don't seem to work on .ra files. Anyone have any idea how to do it???

Give me the URL for the sound file and I'll try something. I think it will work if inserted with an anchor tag so that those wanting to hear it can click on the link and it will download and play. Of course it will require that those wanting to listen to it have Realplayer loaded on their system or are willing to download it and install it.

You may have already found that if you click on that link, if you have RealPlayer installed, it will open RealPlayer and load that file. So that is the way to get it into a post. Now you can dress it up some by using the code below.
